Karen, assuming the answer to Richard's question is still soon (I.e. No real eta), is there any chance you can provide an excel or editable PDF with just the date/time, titles, room, and if there are other sessions. Others details could be looked up on the online agenda already available, but that would help with preplanning/thinning of personal suggestions, and will make it easier to transfer once the app is realeased. Even a PDF of the pocket agenda might help. Only a couple more weekends before the UC...valuable time to review the agenda. thanks, and I'm still looking forward to using the app once released.

I think Melita are correct about it not being quite read for booking, but it's nice to know it's there. I was basing my assumption on click in the "manage" tab and having it looped back to the main page...EDIT: but just tested again and it does show me with "no appointments" So nice. Having said this, having been impatient in the past and have used apps when they haven't been announced quite yet, I know that sometimes early activity is lost. So I would suggest waiting a until the notice goes out, the week of July 13, or at least a few days.....my suggestion anyway. Edit 7/16/15 : I just set up an appointment and received the confirmation email....hopefully this is active and ok to use. ??

Rudy, I think that would be an appropriate place to add at least the resource list link I mentioned.

Rudy, The most referenced/popular is Web AppBuilder Developer Edition – Customization Resource List The first, and the one that has helped quite a few users get WAB setup with AGOL web ID, etc. Tips and Observations for getting Web AppBuilder - Developer Edition Installed I have two others that were in between, mainly for getting the LocalLayer (i.e. services from user's ArcGIS Server) setup Tips for using the custom LocalLayer widget with WAB-Dev edition And for helping to upgrade with the custom widgets....but this one is probably a bit out of date right now Tips (LocalLayer widgets) for more customization and Updating (may help with others too) The resource list has a link to all the rest and it the most valuable, and I try to keep it up to date. There are many resources and people contributing (which I list as many as I can) that may be of interest to your JS list, but it's up to you whether you want to repeat, or just link to what I have. Regardless, I'll be maintaining mine too, since I need it too. thanks for your list(s)....very handy.

Robert and many others can develop circles around me (I'm a pretty good programming hack though), but I'll keep an eye out for anything I might see at the UC, etc. But this is a great resource already. The only thing is if want to add a link to my blogs....they seem to be useful (for WAB dev stuff) but they are pretty unpolished, and since for example, the install tips are what worked for me, and not how the help explains it (i.e., maybe in conflict with help), it may not fit into this more official doc. Your call Rudy. I do link to this page in my resource list btw since it is a helpful resource for all WAB stuff too.

Hi Kristen, I'm back in the office but working thru a few end of reg year deadlines this before getting back on my project. I was wondering how your project was coming along. I "followed" you on Geonet, so if you want to follow me and send me a direct message, I can see if I can explain what I have that might help you. It may get too much for this list until I have things cleaned up some. It's been a process for me to make exceptions for all the different types of data I have. Your stuff may be much simpler.

Hi Brian, I've sent several responses to your GeoNet message but haven't heard back, so not sure if you are seeing them. Bottom line, I can't access google-drive from work, so GeoNet is the best platform for me to be able to access and update my tips and resource list pages. I know the formatting isn't the best, since many times I'm updating in a hurry or from an iPad, but at least I can access it from many places. I don't think GeoNet blogs can be edited by multiple people, but I know there are places in GeoNet that you can set this up. I just prefer doing this in a blog since, 1) I always can find it, and 2) many of the statements and instructions are just my suggestions and opinions, and not necessarily the only way to do things....this is a good place for me to dump my thoughts so I can find them again. If you have things you want to contribute, feel free to send it to me or as a comment (notice a suggestion/clarification I added yesterday 6/23/15) or if you create your own page or blog, let me know the URL and I'm make sure to link over to it so others can find it from here. I know I don't have all the solutions, and things change so fast that there is always room for improvement and other tips. I hope this answered your questions (from the message you sent)

Alex, Here's a GIS Glossary - GIS Wiki | The GIS Encyclopedia with many terms defined. Check out the Esri Video | Videos Covering GIS Events, Products, People, & Topics page for many free videos with many, many topics. Check out Developing Web Apps with ArcGIS API for JavaScript / Building Applications Using the ArcGIS API for JavaScript Resources And, if you get into using the Web Application Builder for Developers, I have a few blog posts that can point you to stuff Web AppBuilder Developer Edition – Customization Resource List and Tips and Observations for getting Web AppBuilder - Developer Edition Installed And although I'm assuming you already have been here, though I better include the link. Thanks Richard. Yes, my data is projected and my buffers are relatively small (max about 650 m). I already have python scripts tools where I go thru each transect and buffer a segment at a time....and it is based on whether they were looking out the left or right side of the plane. I recently (last year) had to retrofit our flight lines to break each individual transect into 1 KM segments (vs the multi-past 30 KM) so the biometrician could test out different theories. This of course created many more segments that had to be buffered. I had a few that for no reason (tech support and I could never figure it out) would actually created a full circle as part of the buffer....not a geometry error or anything, just random. But the program would run for multiple days so who knows what hiccup it ran into. Anyway, with all these additional segments, I had quite a bit of manual cleanup to do. It was a rush project...that is, since programs ran for days on end, I had to get the programs to do what they could in a short time. Anyway, this question and the other threads going around (thanks for the link) intrigued me.....so may see if I can incorporate some of these concepts when I next work on it. This is a once ever few years field project (with lots of data crunching afterwards) which is why some of my programs are still old. But we have another coming up next year so I'll be back on it soon to update them all. It's a fun project (and has seen many changes since our first in '92). So, not quite the same as you need, but worth following to see if you get anything more suggestions.

Richard, just curious, have you thought about using Python? I'm curious to see how this all works and see if it may be something that I would want to adopt for one of my projects. Currently when I buffer my flight line transects I allow them to overlap and have gaps, which may be ok in my situation, but since I'm revisiting one of my projects and rewriting everything in python (some parts are still aml and avenue), I may see if removing the gaps/overlays will be something that would improve our analysis of the field data. So, I'll be following the thread with interest.

I don't have an answer for you, but I would suggest you edit your question title to be something like "Change color ramps of image services within WAB" rather than the generic "ESRI WebApp Builder" you have now. It may get more hits and answers. You already have it in the right GeoNet group for custom widgets. Just a suggestion.
