I have a case where feature data sets in SDE that is versioned and thus editable, consisting of various feature classes with attachments enabled and published as an editable feature service to arcGIS server and served through Collector. The collector app allowed attachments to be included that are then stored in the SDE feature class attachment tables. Upgrading arcSDE to Oracle 12g resulted in 2 of my 6 datasets for some reason loosing the attachment links in collector and arcgis and the ability to upload attachments in Collector. A support call with ESRI is attempting to re link the relate and attachment tables from the previous old database. The link to photo attachments also stopped in the online map. I will need to republish map services and create new feature datasets of the 2 that got "broke' links it looks like.

I am reaching out as I came across some posts on geonet and even though I have contacted ESRI support I am hoping for help in some way. In SDE Oracle 11g I had a feature database with some editable feature classes with attachments enabled, these also were published as map services and used in Collector App. However, when we upgraded to the new SDE oracle database,12 g, the feature classes were copied however the feature dataset was not. I need the feature dataset to be recreated as i have scripts using the feature dataset. If I try to create the feaure dataset with the original feature classes I will loose my existing attachments. Also in Collector the map services referencing the Feature Dataset are there but no attachments or ability to load attachments is possible as the original feature dataset and attach/rel tables are no longer in the feature dataset, even though they are in the SDE FGB. Is there any way to recreate the original feature dataset with the original feature classes and same attach/rel tables?

OK so I have found old posts about this from 10 years ago but nothing recent. I have a spreadsheet originally in excel, I have added new fields (longitude, latitude) as double, even saved as CSV yet data still comes in a line? I have used the excel to table tool still did not help. I have added to a blank arcmap without projection and to an arcmap with projection. When I display X,Y I have tried WGS 84 and many others.I have tried numerous coordinate and projections, yet still wrong. Any Ideas.

After spending a few months with ESRI support we had the same outcome. In Collector we have numerous map services saving attachments to SDE Oracle database, trying to copy or extract the attachments does not work. running the export attachment python script exports 1 attachment. After troubleshooting with ESRI Support and even trying this in arcGIS Pro we determined it to be BUG-000109584
