Hi there, We recently had our ArcGIS Monitor 2023.2 drive run out of space. We've resolved the issue but now have several of our hosts in Error status. The observers appear to be ok (running ok and green) but I've noted that the metrics also seem to be in error. The observers are running ok and nothing in the logs. Hi there, We have just upgraded from 10.9.1 --> 11.1. There is a builtin portal user account which has a large amount of content and owns a large number of groups ~163. What we are seeing is post upgrade when we try to share from an item we see this:   even though this user does own and belong to multiple groups. The other thing I saw is if you move some of the existing groups to another owner then the item sharing works - if you move them back it stops working - this was at around 60 groups. This only seems to be with existing groups / users - as I created a new user and 300 test groups that they owned and sharing worked as expected. I'm wondering if the sharing API is throwing an internal exception and just returning a default response rather than the error. I'm digging into the tomcat logs to see if anything is in there but I suspect the exception if there is one has already been swallowed. Nothing in portal logs. Has anyone come across this before? Hi there, The Portal for ArcGIS component has some good stuff on it couple of questions Will a metric be added for the size of content - e.g. file size of content - so this can be tracked against disk space? The users nologin is useful - is there an analysis that ties this back to last login date and username? This would be good for cleaning up inactive users. Will there be a metric added for stale content - content that isn't being viewed or hasn't been viewed for a view?   Thanks   ... View more

Hi There, I'm working through ArcGIS Monitor 2023 and have some questions around a few things I've seen. Is there a way to add more host processes - like java and javaw as an example - I can see the GIS services and powershell. postgres etc but not java. Can this be added in easily? As I mentioned on a previous post my monitor has 854 services - so there is always something alerting - is there any best practices for configuring for larger sites? To filter out some of the noise? Is the http counter coming in the future to alert on general Urls? Its looking really good so far - just a bit of a swing in thinking for the new layout etc. @AndrewSakowicz  @DerekLaw  ... Hi there, Just installed ArcGIS Monitor 2023 and I'm going through the process of configuring. So far I have a couple of questions. Services all get picked up when you add a GIS Server - can you Mass apply labels to them so you can split them into various collections. I've found the filter - is that the way to add to specific collections (I'll play with that) Not sure if this is the right workflow or not - but is there a way to disable observers for services that you're not interested in monitoring (say like static cached services) - or is it best practice to leave them all in. Reason I ask is that I've got 800 odd services across 6 GIS servers and there is too much information and something is almost always alerting. We just want to focus on our core services. This has come up a few times but is there an equivalent to the Excel Report  currently or is this coming - this was one of the best features of 10.8.1 Thanks! EDIT: So I worked out you can do filtering based on the type and an internal address containing a string so I don't need to use labels (and new services get added without the need to apply labels - which is better). 😉 @DerekLaw    ...
