Is there any other way to do this without Python or other coding? I am not a developer but really need this tool. Geo Jobe offers it in Pro for a fee, but would appreciate if ESRI would offer for free!

Three examples of shapes I use on a regular basis: Old City of Jerusalem (it has a specific shape that many people recognize) Scattered buildings -labeled as Bedouin villages - we many times highlight the buildings of a villages without committing to a certain polygon shape and the same shapes are in the legend. Polygon - an odd shaped polygon that I made for a specific project, but liked it so much, I use it all the time. It wasn't a complete rectangle but not a very odd shape polygon.

Please add the ability to reorder my layers only in the legend, different of the order of how they appear in a web map.

Thanks so much. That works, as silly as it is! It works as long as there is no transparency. But ESRI should really figure out a real way to fix this. I'll suggest on ideas site.

I want to reorder my layers only in the legend, and not how they appear in the map. This is for a web map that will be used in a web experience. I see there have been similar questions throughout the years , with no real solution. )-: Seems kind of basic to me.

What is the best way to store my PDF's that I will put in a story map? As regular content on ArcGIS online or in the "Collections" in Story Maps? Is there are difference in functionality, storage credits?

PLEASE add this option - seems like a basic mapping item - EVERY map needs a North arrow, even in an animation!

I agree! This was a wonderful option that I used all the time. Please add this - or at least allow us to import our created patches from ArcMap.

More user friendly map for Survey 123 · ‎01-21-2021

Please make the map question in Survey 123 more user friendly. It is not so obvious how to add the polygon and line segments to the map, especially for a non-GIS/general public user (which is usually the clients for Survey 123). I just worked with 30 Urban Planning Masters students to develop surveys for the public and most of them (and the end users) found it very complicated to figure out how to place items on the map.

Is there a way to insert a hyperlink into text in a map or a layout and have the link we active when exporting to a pdf? (like in word or excel) I have see decade old posts - but I haven't found a way to do it in ArcMap. Thoughts? I'm using ArcMap 10.8 Nava

Is there a new tool in Pro that will offset routes that overlap each other? I would prefer to symbolically display the offset but if that does not exist than physically moving the lines would do as well. I don't need to keep it as part of a network, it is just for display. I have seen many posts on this issues from the past decade, but I still have not found a simple and appropriate (no special licensing required) solution. Seems like such a standard thing to be able to map overlapping bus routes clearly, especially when so much transit GTFS data is now available for free.

I was the original source of this question and ESRI has stated that as of now, its not possible in PRO, but to add it to ArcGIS Ideas. Indeed it was already there and there are 100 votes. I suggest you vote as well! https://community.esri.com/ideas/15000
