We don't yet know why this is happening to some apps/orgs. If we get more info we will update here. One thing that worked for me on a test app was the following:  - In the instant app configuration change to a different web map. Try picking one that is just a simple basemap.  - Save the app and exit  - Reopen the app and try to update the info panel text. If it works save the app then change back to the old web map.      ... I see some broken images in the bottom of your apps intro panel when I view it. What happens when you try to edit the app and remove all of the old intro panel then publish then go back in edit and add the new text?  Does it work if you create a brand new nearby instant app?  I've tested a few apps and can't reproduce the problem but I'll keep digging into it a bit. Thanks Ryan. I can't repro with a copy of your map/app with the map desc included. I did make one small change to the app to handle an issue with layers loading. Yes you can use a custom viewpoint via url param to load the app at a particular viewpoint. Here's an example:    https://www.arcgis.com/apps/instant/3dviewer/index.html?appid=4e8c21a7013c454caf04a99369e481fd&viewpoint=cam:7.60518687,51.95322645,97.038;59.413,90.367   An easy way to generate the url is to use the share tool in the upper right corner of the app. If you set pan/zoom/rotate to get the map the way you want it then click the Share > Copy Link it will copy a link to the clipboard with the custom viewpoint.  ...
