There is not a Google Sketchup 8 plug-in. It looks like there is not one after version 6. http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/sketchup/thread?tid=23f116248420b260&hl=en Is there something in particular that you are trying to do? You can still import Sketchup models into ArcGIS, but you will need to save it as version 6.

You can remove the pyramids by deleting the .ovr or .rrd file from Windows Explorer. You can also view the file size there as well to help determine if it is legitimate.

What is the uncompressed size of the raster (Right Click raster > Properties > Source)? From the same source tab, what is the min/max values of the raster? How was the raster created? Are you able to identify pixels with the Identify tool?

A similar process to Dan's would be to convert the polyline to points using the Feature Vertices To Points tool. There are a variety of options for determining which vertices to convert (ie: All, Mid, Ends). Then proceed to use the sample tool with the points.

It looks like your Mosaic Dataset is using a stretched renderer. Try changing the stretch type to none for the image. Here is a great blog that discusses this issue: Is your raster so bright, you have to wear shades? As for color matching, you can use the Color Balance Mosaic Dataset (Data Management) tool from ArcToolbox or the Color Correct window. Here is also an exercise that will take you through the process using the tool: Exercise 5: Color balancing a mosaic dataset

Hey Kevin, I tried out the Excel table and got the same results you did. The points showed up at 0,0. I believe there is something wrong with the spreadsheet. I'm not sure if it is the table or a format issue; however, I was able to get it to work. From ArcMap I exported the Excel table to a .dbf table. The new .dbf table displayed the points in the correct location when using the Display XY Data function. Try that out and let me know if it works.

Hi! Welcome to the ArcGIS Forums. Could you check a couple things with the new layer that was added? 1. Right click the layer > Open Attribute Table. The table that opens should be similar to the Excel table. Here you will see the number of features. Do you see approximately 200 records? 2. Right click the layer > Zoom to Layer. Are you able to see more points? It is possible that you are zoomed so far out that the display generalizes the layer to a single point. I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Here is something I threw together really quick. It ran fine for me and properly inverted the values of the input raster. import arcpy
from arcpy.sa import *
arcpy.CheckOutExtension("Spatial")
InputRaster = "\\c:\\temp\\Input.img"
OutputRaster = "\\c:\\temp\\Output.img"
RasterMax = arcpy.GetRasterProperties_management(InputRaster,"MAXIMUM")
OutputRasterMax = (RasterMax.getOutput(0))
RasterMin = arcpy.GetRasterProperties_management(InputRaster, "MINIMUM")
OutputRasterMin = (RasterMin.getOutput(0))
RasterInvert = ((Minus(InputRaster, float(OutputRasterMax))*(-1)+ float(OutputRasterMin)))
RasterInvert.save(OutputRaster)

I would think that you could snap the polylines to each other. You could also create a polyline of just connections. Just make sure you set up the participation correctly in the netowork.

To save the symbology, you can create a layer file (right click layer > Save as Layer File) for the original TIN. Then when the updated TIN is added back to your document, import the symbology of the layer file from the TIN's symbology tab.

You can create the stairs by using a 3D Polyline. You can create the polyline in ArcScene or even just define the Z value for each vertex within the sketch properties. Be sure to first check the option to include Z values when creating the feature class. Here are some great resources: Analysis on 3D network datasets What do you get when you cross the 3D Analyst extension with the Network Analyst This blog discusses the workflow used for creating 3D routing using the tutorial data: C:\arcgis\ArcTutor\Network Analyst\Workflow\3DRouting 3D polyline features
