This happens with Raster datasets. However I am not 100% sure for vector data. I believe logic should be same. As fixed distance band window could be divided in this way and based on surrounding values (8) the middle value can be derived.

Yes, it is possible. Just use '\n' to split the text. Could you please provide an example of text and how it should be split.

I have created that picture to visualize the information and for better understanding. 3m is just an example you can set the distance to any appropriate value depending on the distribution of the points and the spacing between them so that the window covers approximately eight points. I believe you could get the average distance values using step2 or try using Point file information tool and refer the output table. Regards, Kishor

1 2.1 To get the average of 8 values you can use Near tool and set search radius = x and closest count = 8. ArcGIS Help 10.1 2.2 Then use Dissolve tool to get the average. Use in_feature field and set statistics = MEAN. ArcGIS Help 10.1 ArcGIS Help (10.2, 10.2.1, and 10.2.2) Hope this is helpful Regards Kishor

If you are creating a mosaic dataset or raster catalog from tiled raster data, such as orthophotos or the USGS topographic maps, it is recommended that you use the same projection for the mosaic dataset or raster catalog as the stored data is using. If that's not possible because of a mix of projections, try to use a projection based on the same datum. For example, the USGS topographic maps were originally created using NAD27. For more information please follow the link below: ArcGIS Help 10.1 Once you create a mosaic, you can add it on top of ESRI Basemap or Bing Map in ArcMap and have random checks. You can use Swipe tool on Effect toolbar bar. Hope this is helpful Regards Kishor
