I'm currently attempting to embed a web app into my page. The web app is hosted in ArcGIS Online (not my organization's portal).

I did. Maybe I'm misinterpreting things, but isn't the X-Frame-Options header something that is set on Esri's side? I'm not hosting the web map, Esri is - I'm just using the html that is generated when I click "share" on my web map. I don't see any mention of X-Frame-Options headers in this help page: Embed maps, apps, and groups—ArcGIS Online Help

I'm also having this issue. All of the sudden today Chrome and Firefox and IE will not display my embedded web app on a web page, giving me the "Refused to display 'https://www.arcgis.com/home/signin.html?returnUrl=http%3A//www.arcgis.com/apps/View/index.html%3Fappid%...' in a frame because it set 'X-Frame-Options' to 'deny'."

Today I've started getting this error message when attempting to view my we bpage which contains an embedded AGOL web app in an iframe: <iframe style="height: 90vh" src='http://www.arcgis.com/apps/View/index.html?appid=...' frameborder='0' scrolling='no'></iframe> Refused to display 'https://www.arcgis.com/home/signin.html?returnUrl=http%3A//www.arcgis.com/apps/View/index.html%3Fappid%...' in a frame because it set 'X-Frame-Options' to 'deny'.
GET https://www.arcgis.com/home/signin.html?returnUrl=http%3A//www.arcgis.com/apps/View/index.html%3Fappid%... net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_RESPONSE I'm just wondering if there's anything I need to configure in the map or app itself in order to ensure it displays on my page, regardless of whether the client is logged into ArcGIS Online in their browser or not. Or is it not possible to disaply a web map/app in an iframe if the client is not logged into AGOL? edit: I'm marking this as "assumed answered" as the cause of the issue was determined to be a layer in the map did not have the proper sharing settings. I set the layer to share with the public, and the embedded app displayed correctly in my web page.

I need to insert a new row into a featureless table in a file geodatabase, but I can't seem to find anything the ArcGIS Pro SDK community samples or pro snippets. Does anybody know how this can be done and/or can point me in the right direction?

I've noticed that sometimes I get a System.ArgumentException when attempting to add a layer at this line: LayerFactory.Instance.CreateLayer(new Uri(uri), map) var 'uri' is a string containing the full path of a .lyrx file (ex: "D:\Data\my_layer.lyrx"). If the path is on a shared network drive, some of the time I get the exception. I'm also unable to navigate to that folder in the ArcGIS Pro Catalog. Sometime it does work, however but it seems random. There is no loss of connection to the folder in Windows Explorer when this error occurs. Is it possible to force a refresh or reconnect to the network folder before attempting to access files? Has anyone else experienced a similar issue?

Thanks for this! Do you happen to remember which community sample demonstrates this? I must just not be seeing it...

I'm having a hard time figuring out how to get the currently selected item in a ComboBox. I couldn't find anything demonstrating this in the ArcGIS Pro SDK Community Samples, but I may have missed or overlooked this. The RibbonControls solution demonstrates the combo box and button click, but I can't figure out how to get the combo box selection when the button is clicked. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I voted on this idea as soon as i saw it. Unfortunately it did not seem to get much attention, nor has it been addressed in the 2.0 release.

Ok...so I can (sort of) understand not allowing the user to connect to the root of the local disk, but it makes no sense not to allow connections to the root of a mapped network drive. The “root” location in this case is just my DFS file server, pulling from various shares on my network that house all my GIS data. It’s not actually the root of any single disk, and there are no operating system files or installed programs - it’s an arbitrary drive map letter. I don't want to add ~50 folder connections for every share on my mapped DFS.

I'm not sure what User Account Control has to do with anything here, I don't need elevated privileges. Security being the reason behind not allowing ArcGIS Pro to add folder connections at the drive root doesn't really make sense to me either - this can be easily thwarted by adding a symbolic link to the drive root, and you're in: Additionally, my mapped network drive root is really just pointing to my organization's DFS file server. It's not actually the "root" of any machine, it's just a collection of folder shares from various network locations.

I was not able to find the root cause of this issue. However, I was able to create a new, empty solution, and rebuild my add-in by copying over the code and resources. Marking question as assumed answered.

I was reading the connect to a folder ArcGIS Pro help page, and I noticed this limitation: ArcGIS Pro does not support adding folder connections to the project that access the root node of any disk, for example, C:\ or D:\. Can anyone provide an explanation as to why this is so? Connecting to a root drive location has always worked in ArcMap.

I'm working on an add-in for ArcGIS Pro, and I am having some trouble hitting breakpoints in my code when debugging via Visual Studio. I am receiving a warning stating "The breakpoint will not currently be hit. No symbols have been loaded for this document." I had previous been able to debug the add-in and hit my breakpoints in the code, but I'm not sure what I did. After add a few new controls, I seem to be unable to hit any breakpoints in the code. I've googled around a bit and tried some solutions found in StackOverflow and elsewhere, but I can't seem to resolve this issue. Has this happened to anyone else before? Additionally, when I click one of the controls in my add-in, nothing seems to happen, and then the control will turn gray and become disabled. I haven't seen this behavior before and I'm not sure what I did, as everything was working as expected earlier today.
