@DryCreekEng , Not a problem. What is the error you're getting? You'd better clean up the AGOL from the published zipped files first.

Hi @DryCreekEng , For the file geodatabase you need to specify the type in the item properties. This is a quick script I put together: if gdb:
item_props = {'type':'File Geodatabase'}
elif shapefile:
item_props = {'type':'Shapefile'}
else:
.....
add_item = gis.content.add(item_properties= item_props, data = path to data file) I hope that helps. Mehdi

@MichaelWallace3 It's working for me too. You may need to test another dataset and may also consider upgrading ArcGIS API for Python.

Hi @JaredPilbeam2 , I answered your same question in the following link: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-api-for-python-questions/publish-csv-to-enterprise-portal-errors/m-p/1036439#M5719

@JaredPilbeam2 , Found the problem. The catch here is specifying none for the location type since there is no coordinates in the csv file and I didn't know publishing a csv in Portal would require some parameters (type and location type) to specify in this case, compared to publishing to AGOL which you can (also) publish without parameters. params={"type":"csv","locationType":"none"}
csv_item.publish(publish_parameters=params) Make sure you first delete the defective published csv feature layer. Cheers Mehdi

@JaredPilbeam2 What version of ArcGIS API for Python are you using? Perhaps a version upgrade helps!

Hi @ClintBoaz1 , By putting .shp you are telling python to download just this file and not the other related files (Shapefiles). The following script should work, you can also specify the save_path and file_name inside the download method: item_1 = gis.content.get('FL_itemID')
item_shp = item_1.export(title='item_shapefile', export_format='Shapefile')
item_shp.download()
# you can specify the file path and name
# item_shp.download(save_path=r"D:\temp", file_name="item_downloadedFromAGOL.zip")
item_2 = gis.content.get('FL_itemID')
item_excel = item_2.export(title='item_excel', export_format='Excel')
item_excel.download()

@JaredPilbeam2 , I just tried to add and publish a CSV (no coordinates and no address ) to AGOL and it worked fine. I just used the publish method without any input parameters. csv_layer = csv_item.publish() I'd recommend trying to add and publish a different CSV file to check if this works for you too. The other thing to consider is to check the field names and remove if they have any characters such as //\,()[],....

Hi @MackWood , You can follow the link below from esri sample notebooks (Apply updates from the second spreadsheet). This provides a step by step guide from reading a csv file, a feature layer, joining them and finally updating the attribute fields based on your csv dataframe. You just need to skip the geometry updates. https://developers.arcgis.com/python/sample-notebooks/updating-features-in-a-feature-layer/ I hope that helps. Mehdi

@NCC-TU good to hear that. Regarding the loading time, it should not take this long. I can recommend to create it again to see if the issue is resolved. you can also try a point with fewer dates just to test if it's working on your dataset.

Hi @NCC-TU , The point feature class can be joined with your table using a common field (e.g., Site or a common ID field). Once joined make it a permanent feature class by exporting it. Then you can create a NetCDF multidimensional feature from this feature class since it has water temperature. The following link provides a good information about what NetCDF tools are available in ArcGIS Pro, how to create a NetCDF feature, ....: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/data/multidimensional/a-quick-tour-of-netcdf-data.htm https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/tool-reference/multidimension/make-netcdf-raster-layer.htm https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-pro/imagery/create-multidimensional-raster-data/ I hope that's helpful.
