Kyle, The way I've gotten it to do what you need (domained selections) is to first publish the fields as "select_one" fields, then once published, change the fields to "hidden" in Connect and publish again. The domains are preserved in the data, since nothing changed them, only the fact they are hidden from the Survey123 form. The riskier way is to add the domains through ArcGIS Pro or AGOL, but I admit I have broken the JSON doing that before. I don't know if any recent update may have corrected that issue. Marvin

James, Does a non-profit organization's ArcGIS Online account have access to Survey123? A non-profit group I'm in just purchased a Creator account but I don't think the ArcGIS Online account is set up as an organization, and the account will not sign in for Survey123.

Ismael, This was incredibly helpful on my end. I've lost a lot of time from adding fields to layers after the fact, and it caused problems with apps like Explorer (invalid JSON). It was much easier doing it through Survey123 Connect the way you mentioned above, then republish the field as hidden after the fact. Thank you! Marvin

Thomas, I'm well aware the Trimble my organization has is a dinosaur. This was merely me asking if there are any more miles I can get out of this device before putting it out to pasture as my boss has made it clear he will not invest in a new one. I had accepted well before your reply that as I move to Pro, this device will be a paperweight. Thanks.

It does irritate me that when I share a service from ArcGIS Pro that I'm not afforded the ability to change the sharing settings and how editing will be controlled. I would greatly appreciate greater management control at the publishing stage.

Kory, Disconnected Editing could be a method to achieve this but I don't think it would completely solve the problem as I would be left not being able to export the map or layers to ArcPad. Right now, the process for getting a hosted feature service onto ArcPad on my Trimble unit is this: Sync with Feature Services in ArcPad 10.2. There are no tools in Pro to export the data into a file that is readable by ArcPad, which means I have to get the feature service URL to the device instead of it being easy to streamline from Online to Pro to ArcPad. I've got the feeling I'll have to stick with Desktop 10.x and this current method to get what I need onto the Trimble unit or abandon the Trimble for Collector, which makes a very costly piece of equipment unusable with the new software. We are a small operation and a device that works with Collector is not a cost we can incur at this time.

I know ArcPad is going the way of the dinosaur but if ArcGIS Pro (where I'm doing most of my work) is able to do exporting and syncing with ArcPad on my Trimble GeoExplorer 6000, especially with exporting hosted feature service layers from ArcGIS Online, it would cut down on a lot of extra work. Right now, I have to do any ArcPad-related work in Desktop and had to find how to use feature service layers in ArcPad to get it to work. I'd stick with Collector but do not have an accurate GPS receiver to improve accuracy. If this is feasible and desirable by others, I'd definitely find it useful for my (obviously dated) technology!

If the Phantom 3 is Drone2Map compatible, I assume the Phantom 4 has to be as well? I contacted DJI and they have zero information on Drone2Map.

I have a web app that our city uses to track street light outages, and it only has a publicly shared feature service layer with one editable field (if the light is working or not). When I am signed in to my account, I can edit at will. If I sign out or a public user tries to edit the layer, no field is editable, therefore rendering the app useless. Was there another WAB update that messed this up and I have to wait for a fix, or is this something as simple as recreating the feature service layer? Thanks!

Thank you Xiadong. I will try the workaround, but I feel better knowing it'll be fixed in the future. I also tried the plain "Editor" app template on a new app and found the popups were the same as the web map in it, so I figured it wasn't too bad of a fix.
