Hi there, When a service is published from ArcGIS Pro to Portal for ArcGIS, it's automatically stored in the Site/Root folder of the Portal and in ArcGIS Server. Is it possible to specify the ArcGIS Server folder that the service will be published to (traditionally our layers have been organised by folders in Server)? If not, is this something that might happen with future releases of Pro? I understand why the service is published to the Root folder, as it's expected for the administration/organisation of layers to happen in Portal and not Server. If this is the case, why do I still have to navigate to the Server Manager to delete services and they can't be done from Pro or Portal (deleting from Portal appears to just remove the shared instance, not the service itself): Any information would be appreciated Carmel

Afternoon, I'm working with ArcGIS Pro 1.4.1 and Portal for ArcGIS 10.3.1 (Federated with Server) I've been able to connect to Portal through ArcGIS Pro and publish Web Maps and Web Layers to it just fine. I've attempted to 'Overwrite Web Layer' but I get the error message 'Overwriting is not supported to your portal': I haven't been able to find any other instances of this error in GeoNet or Google. I am able to overwrite services in ArcMap. I notice here that 'Currently, ArcGIS Pro only supports overwriting web feature layers that do not reference registered data.' - does this mean Map Images cannot be overwritten at all, regardless of where the data comes from? This might be true, but the error message above points to a bigger issue. Thanks! Carmel

Hi Caitlin, Are you able to open the web map successfully if you're not signed into your account? Other things that impact on the sharing of a web map are the basemap and locators, might be worth checking them. Has your ArcGIS Online organisation had a change in security settings recently? Carmel

Hi John, While in http://survey123.arcgis.com > Data, choose 'Open in ArcGIS Map Viewer' - here you can apply a filter to your data based on dates, and then use the tool Extract Data to extract your filtered data to CSV. Carmel

Hi Charlotte, Does your Collector layer and Desktop layer have the same features? If so, this blog post may help: http://communityhub.esriuk.com/geoxchange/2016/6/28/cwvhyhkyk2wpwgd091j4rzcpmpu2rr. I explain how to join features collected in Collector back to a feature class stored locally - you might be able to follow the workflow in relation to attachments alone. (Have a go with test layers first!) Carmel

We've noticed this as well - I think it's over compensation of correcting the photo's orientation by Survey123 and by the device itself.

Hi Doug, Is this issue appearing in existing surveys, or have you tried with a brand new survey? I've come across this but it usually happens if I've copied and pasted into that field. Carmel

Hi Megan, Do you have an edit option on the toiolbar above the Content section? I'd say you can't edit the shapefile as it's basically just a graphic at the moment and has limited functionality. I'd recommend adding the shapefile through your My Content first using this workflow: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/share-maps/add-items.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_AE3B53E5DB5B4C37B24145BE08119238 and choose 'Publish this file as a hosted layer'. 2 items will be added to your My Content, the shapefile and a Feature Layer (hosted) which you can add to a web map and edit. Hi Erik, You could use 'Create View' to create a new 'view' of the original layer. The workflow described by Christopher can be used on this 'view' and the field workers would edit this layer. This still allows the original layer to have new features added/geometry changed for other users in your organisation. Any edits to the data are wrote to both layers/views so both are up to date. Hi Thomas, I think this is because you enabled the 'Members can update all items in this group' setting on the group. If you go into the item details of an item, and share from there, you will see your group appear. This option can't be disabled for the group, you'll have to recreate the group if you want it disabled. Carmel

Hi https://community.esri.com/migrated-users/45152
and https://community.esri.com/migrated-users/6952
For the default zoom level in the Individual Response, myself and Carl Holt have found that setting the default zoom in Settings->Map tab in Survey123 Connect doesn't work as expected, either the map doesn't appear at all, or it's not centred on the correct location (https://community.esri.com/thread/190499-survey123-dashboard-not-showing-map-in-report-view) After some testing, I've found: If I publish a new survey with no extent set, the map appears in the Individual Response section but the map shows the whole world If I republish the same survey with Preview Map and Detailed Map options configured, the map still appears in the Individual Response section but is centred over the west of the US If I publish a brand new survey, and configure Preview Map and Detailed Map options, no map appears in the Individual Response section Setting the location in the web designer does work as expected (although I've found the zoom level does need to be altered manually) Carmel

Hi Terry, Have you tried taking advantage of the Field Alias column in the spreadsheet? https://doc.arcgis.com/en/survey123/desktop/create-surveys/esricustomcolumns.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_9AC571BAFD664A07A383A8A6651849C4 This is a way to define a new 'label' to match your field names for the exported .csv. These aliases don't affect the way they form is viewed through the app. Carmel
