Did you ever get this working? I'm in the same boat now, but mine is live with several records. We realized that they can submit without even selecting from the problem type drop down and our departments would like that to be required. I tried on a test feature layer after removing all records to no avail. In ArcGIS Pro it is just grayed out and using the JSON method to update the definition returns that it was successful, however it is still set to allow nulls. Being that we are live, I don't want to have to re-do it (& then all the views we did on it).

Arne - no issues encountered since. I highly recommend it. We also use this for a license server. Now I can move the license server to another box and the only ones I have to worry with are those outside of our network that need the IP address.

We just set up Enterprise logins, however I'm looking for this to handle temporary, contract workers that we would not set up in our Enterprise system. For example, we have volunteers help us with our Homeless Point-in-time count. If I could give them access for just the month they are needed, it would help.

Hi Harsh, I appreciate you looking into this. Our Web AppBuilder is here: OneMap. And the video showing this behavior, hopefully comes through below. Melissa

Has anyone else seen this? I'm getting reports from users that bookmarks are not working properly in our Web AppBuilder app. After digging and comparing browsers, I've come to the conclusion that it is IE (11) that shows this. In Firefox or Chrome, if you click the text of the bookmark it will trigger the bookmark. In IE it just highlights the text and does not react. We have found that if you click the icon to the left of the bookmark name that it will trigger the bookmark though. Is this due to a recent AGOL update or IE? I personally use Chrome, however most of our users have been using IE for ever and are creatures of habit.

Yes, Ronnie, that's what I just got implemented with our server team. I can't believe we've done it this long without. I'm terribly excited that even the users' connections will not need to be changed again too!

I realize this is old, but I stumbled upon this today in my searches and thought I might add to this for the next person in my shoes. I found that I was unable to unshare from the group and have it update to private. It would still show as it was shared to a group without any checkboxes checked! My fix was to unshare it from the groups, and click share to organization, press OK. Then turn around and edit the share again removing organization, press OK - with this it finally updated to private. Then I could move the content to another user. It was acting buggy, not sure if it was browser specific (Chrome), but I figured it out quick enough by myself. I thought I'd save someone the trouble if they experience the same.

Just about seven years later and still a dream? I spent a bit of time yesterday testing an ArcGIS Server service, changing the database connections behind my registered Data Stores in ArcGIS Server Manager (10.5.1) all to find out that each service hangs on to the database connections it was published with. Our organization has 50 services by multiple publishers that need to be changed as part of a database upgrade project. I thought for sure there had to be an easy-button for this. This morning, ESRI Support confirmed that there is no such thing. I'm glad we only have 50, we are a small city, I can't imagine the pain larger organizations deal with. Sometimes upgrading your database in-place and keeping old server naming conventions are not options.

Hi Barbara, Not a silly question, it gets a bit confusing when you have to hop between products... I used SQL Server Management studio (logged in as sysadmin) and right click>edit top 200 rows, held my breath, then highlighted and (right-click) deleted the rows that were shown.

I see that this is old, but it's the closest thing to what I'm looking for today. I'm looking to bring a dashboard of our usage statistics to our internal users (embed in SharePoint). Management would like to see how many users are logging in per month, how many new features, maps, apps are created, how many new accounts, how many hits per month for key apps, etc. They basically want to see how active our City is in utilizing our AGOL organizational account. It appears that the dashboard that can be created requires layers, which isn't exactly what I'm trying to do. I want to bring a customized, live version of what I see when I get into my organization status tabs. Is there a method for this?

Thank you! I upgraded to 10.5.1 last month and have had this issue ever since. Clearing the tables above got me back in business with seeing locks and compressing. It seems 10.5.1 is a bit more sensitive with the database, at least SQL. This saved me a support call; the most painful part was having to wait until after-hours to kick everyone off.

Thank you!!! THIS is far superior to sliced bread - I mean who can eat bread anymore these days anyway! Thanks for this clue and thank the developers for this handy little but oh-so-big checkbox.

I’ve always just lived with this. Yesterday I had a user ask and I find out in my searching that it’s not possible. What?! This is only second to the inability to group layers in maps on my AGOL pet-peeves list. I understand the potential for slower results. Kindly let us choose what is worse per map/app/need.

Oh-no, I'm just coming across this post today looking for an answer to the same problem in 10.4! Searching for the NIM referenced before shows that it was fixed at 10.3, but I'm here to tell you it's back at 10.4. I've submitted it to support and was informed that they already had a bug out on it. It is BUG-000083052 for anyone else stumbling upon this thread in search of help.

Shooting in the dark here as I don't have Portal installed and Maps for Office doesn't work with our Office 365. From everything I've heard it's basically ArcGIS Online for your own network though. With a feature service, in AGOL, there is a checkbox at the bottom of the page under the Settings tab to allow others to export different formats. By default it is unchecked. Could it be that simple?
