@Becca_Unfortunately, I do not have access to Power Automate premium license and as such cannot test what you are experiencing.

I'm in the same situation. I need help BIG. In ArcGIS Field Maps, when I try to change the default value it is greyed out. It shows the default value I set in ArcGIS Pro that I'm using in another Field Maps project, but I want a new default value for this new project and I cannot change it to a new default value. It is greyed out in the template too. I will appreciate your input. Thank you, Abi

@JeffShanerLocation Tracking layer in ArcGIS Collector Classic use to work in a disconnected environment. You say Location Sharing layer does not work in a disconnected environment, but you are tracked regardless of the network as long as you have 'My Tracks' Turned On in Field Maps? However though, each asset will have to have a license. And, Location Sharing layer can be put on a web map to view it. Thank you, Abi

We have been trying to take 'Location Sharing' layer offline with ArcGIS Field Maps just like we took 'Location Tracking' layer offline in ArcGIS Collector Classic. However, the last time I tried 'Location Sharing' layer in Field Maps, it is not able to go offline. Sync is not enabled. I had even opened up an enhancement case with Esri to have Location Sharing layer have the capability to go offline. I do not know the status of it now. The point is, some of our federal projects require location tracking, especially when conducting aerial forest pest detection work. Even though ArcGIS Collector Classic is outdated and not supported, we at the Alabama Forestry Commission are still using ArcGIS Collector Classic, because it has offline capability for tracking location of the aerial flights making it possible for us to do federal reporting of location tracking layer. What happens if ArcGIS Collector Classic becomes totally unavailable in the future and we are not able to track location by going offline. What do we do? Is Esri doing something about it? It would be great to have Location Sharing layer have the capability to go offline. This is nothing new. Esri has made Location Tracking possible before with ArcGIS Collector Classic. Esri can again make it possible to take Location Sharing layer offline with ArcGIS Field Maps. The enhancement/capability will be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Abi

@MarceloMarques I got one more thing I need to ask, Marcelo. Once the machine type is changed will we have to restore SQL Server Enterprise Data (sde) connection on the new machine type or will it automatically have all that in place? Thank you, Abi

@MarceloMarques Changing the machine type means the ability to change it from DS4_v2 to E8dbs_v5. This will only require Powering Off the DS4_v2, and then changing the machine type to E8bds_v5 and then Powering On the VM. What happens if the present machine type has Windows Server 2016 and we want Windows Server 2022? Is this going to be a whole different ball game unlike the cpu and RAM deal? Thank you, Marcelo. Abi

@MarceloMarques I forgot to mention this, Sir. For your information, we have ArcGIS Enterprise with Portal, Server, Datastore on the same machine. Can we just power off the VM change the machine type ( what does this mean?) from DS4_v2 to E8bds_v5, add more cpu and RAM and power it back on. Please tell me, no ArcGIS Enterprise Migration needed? Thank you, Abi

@MarceloMarquesWe would like to understand more of what you are saying, please. Our present VM is: DS4_v2. This VM has run out of capacity. We cannot add more RAM to it. It has reached its limits. It has 28 GiB of RAM and we need 64 GiB. In reference to your message: "There is no need to request a new VM. The cloud administrator can power off the existing machine and change the machine type to add more cpu and memory". What is changing machine type? How can we add more memory or cpu without a new VM? We are looking at E8bds_v5. This machine has 64 GiB of RAM. What should be our next step? Thank you for your great insight. It has been very helpful. Abi

Does anyone know if Location Sharing layer can be taken offline? Is there a work around? Is Esri doing something about it? Thank you, Abi

@MarceloMarques I have another question. You know I have been working on getting a new VM because my present VM is insufficient. What happens if I reserve the present VM's IP address and put it on the new VM. Will I still have to do ArcGIS Enterprise Migration? Or, will a snap shot of the present VM be enough to put ArcGIS Enterprise on the new VM? Thank you, Abi

Hey folks, I got it figured out. The GPS might be working now. It required an update of both the firmware on the Elf as well as the underlying GNSS Engine. We'll know more as our foresters collect data. Thank you all for chipping in your ideas. They all helped. Thank you, Abi

@MichaelLohrThank you. We are not looking for a highly accurate and sophisticated GPS units. I used the tremble units for water line gpsing a few years ago. We are just looking for a simple GPS like the Bad Elf to do what we do. We will spend a $100 - $250 dollars on a GPS unit to do forest pest data collection. It has worked for us for a few years. I do not know what the deal is now even a fairly new Bad Elf GPS it not locating satellite. I'm also trying to get in touch with Bad Elf people. The problem is they are a small company and it is hard to get someone to talk to you. Thank you, Abi
