Sorry for the delay @Anonymous User . It seems like you are missing the featureSourceURL parameter which specifies the layer in the map you would like to add a feature to; this parameter is required when using addFeature. See the section header Initiate capturing a feature in the doc here. Also, you can set the integration via Workforce Web and copy the URL from the assignment integration table to get an idea of how its structured by default. I hope this helps! Regards, Colin

This can happen if you manually go to the link in the browser prior to installing Field Maps app. Here are a few workflows that have been used to successfully to clear out Safari as the preferred option to open app links: 1. Uninstall and reinstall Field Maps 2. Go to https://fieldmaps.arcgis.app in Safari, swipe the page down for the Smart Banner to appear, just under the URL banner. Tap the blue OPEN button in the Smart Banner seen in the image below. This should give preference to Field Maps over Safari next time link is opened. 3. Press and hold on the app link from an email, text message, etc. This will present the option on how you’d like to open the link. If you chose the option “Open in Field Maps” it should remember this for the next time. I hope these help! Regards, Colin

It looks like you have the itemID before the referenceContext in the URL. Can you try placing the referenceContext first and see if that makes a difference?

@Anonymous User , I am having trouble reproducing this on my Android device; it seems to be working for me. Are you using the Workforce project configuration screen to set up the integration or modifying at the back end to create your own URL? Its not totally clear to me re-reading your original post.

I think you may need at least a Publisher role or higher if using the default roles. Note their ability to create "hosted" feature layers and not just "Create content" ie maps and groups like a User can. In the workflow you are following, a hosted feature layer is being published.

Totally skipped over that part of your post. This is likely a limitation of your user type or role. Can you have your administer take a look at your ArcGIS Online account within the scope of this documentation? You likely an adjustment to your user role. Regards, Colin

Hi @jmohlman , The UI for ArcGIS Online has changed since that blog was posted. If you click on "New Item" and then "Feature Layer" you will see the screen to create from a Template (like you see in the blog). That should help move you forward. Regards, Colin

Thank you! We have been investigating this but the behavior is far from consistent in our efforts to reproduce it. Your feedback is helpful. Regards, Colin

Doug, What platform are you using Field Maps on? Also, check the troubleshooting logs within the app. We have logs for when an unregister attempt happens and whether or not its successful. Regards, Colin

Hi @Anonymous User , Just to clarify to make sure im understanding: When Field Maps is already open in the background and you follow the link from Workforce - it works When Field Maps is not open in the background (ie force closed) and you follow the link - it doesnt work When it doesnt work its simply opening Field Maps and the map, but not considering the assignment location, ie placing you at your current GPS location? Seems like there might be a bug in the way the URL is processing; I can take a look. Can you just confirm the version of Field Maps you are using? Regards, Colin

Hi @JuhaHaanpera , You are looking in the correct place in the documentation. You can add a link to another app/page that calls out to open Field Maps and can pass additional parameters optionally (listed in the doc). If all you need to do is open Field Maps back up after completing your workflow in another app, then https://fieldmaps.arcgis.app? should suffice. Regards, Colin

Hi @AaronWorthley1 , Sorry for the delay. I reproduced this with a different type of external receiver and am logging something internally to debug. If you havent already, it would be helpful to submit this to support and if you have a bug number, report it back here. Thanks! Regards, Colin

Hi @AaronWorthley1 , Are you still having issues with this workflow? To clarify, if the external receiver is powered off or disconnected, you are correctly notified of this and can switch to internal without issue? Regards, Colin

@MichaelGliem have you saved the Map in Map Viewer after it was configured in Field Maps Web? This can overwrite the popup created in FM Web. Regards, Colin
