Hi @LeviCecil , The way indoors/floor aware information is stored in a Webmap has changed. In short, you will need to configure/alter the existing Webmaps through Pro to declare specific aspects to the indoors data model. This is a good short read which explains the tools and workflow. More specifically, you can open your existing Webmaps in Pro and update the map properties to declare which feature classes contain "Facility", "Site" and "Floor" information and for each floor aware feature layer in the map, you just have to adjust the layer properties to declare which field is acting as the floor identifier, explained in this documentation. This makes Field Maps and ArcGIS much more flexible because now we can work with any feature class or feature service as long as the appropriate fields are present; same holds for the floor ID fields. This does mean the Indoors extension is required in order to use these tools but does open up the ability to view the floor picker in Pro. If this is extension unavailable to you I would suggest working with your Account Manager to see if we can offer a trial version so you can decide if this functionality meets your needs. I hope this helps provide some detail. Regards, Colin

Hi @Amanda__Huber , The behavior you describe is expected and was the same with Collector as well. When a collection is started auto-pan mode is turned off so as to not present a distraction while completing the form and to keep the feature being collected centered in the map view. I understand a change in this functionality might benefit your workflows greatly. I would suggest you log an Idea on the Community site and/or work with Support to get an enhancement logged. Regards, Colin

@kelahall If you see them in the Web Map in AGOL then it is not the symbology. One other thing I forgot to mention is that there could be a visibility range set on the layer so features do not draw outside of certain scales. This would not be on by default but you can check for it in the Web Map in AGOL. You could try adding the data to a new map and see if the same issue is reproducible. That might tell you if it was something changed in the map settings that is causing this behavior.

Still sounds a little strange. Is the symbology possibly driven by one of the fields? Perhaps the template is set so if there is a null value then the symbology is fully transparent. If the fields were required it would not let you submit in the first place; you should get an error and helper text under each required field. Are you sure you are not getting an error?

@kelahall Are you able to add/submit features but they disappear from view afterwards? Perhaps there is a filter, definition query, symbology with 100% transparency or an editing setting (ie: "Editors cant see any features, even those they add"); any of these could make a feature disappear from view when created. However this should also happen in the offline map but may not occur until the sync if processed (in some of the cases). Check the data online or in the database to see if features are actually being added in the Online case. There is no setting that dictates a layer can only be edited offline. Can you confirm Online edits work in Collector on the same map?

I understand the repetitive nature if your layer has a single feature template. If layer 3 has multiple feature templates - say its symbolized based on a "category" field with 3 different types - you would need to be prompted to select a template before entering the editing process. This way we follow a consistent flow whether there are multiple templates or a single template. I know you are aware of this but just to clarify for you and potentially others: if you don't specify a layer in the URL (no featureSourceURL parameter; just addFeature) then we display all templates for all layers in the map specified. Its on the near to mid-term scale in terms of our roadmap. This is still a little murky due to the underlying dependencies. I apologize I cannot give a more specific time at this point. Regards, Colin

Hey @DougBrowning , Your URL is correct; this is the expected behavior. The reasoning is that this will help give the user context as to what is happening when the app is opened and also to remain consistent with the behavior experienced when the layer has multiple templates and this option must be presented. I think there are pros/and cons for each method. Happy to hear if you have any other feedback or reasoning based on your workflows. Thanks! Regards, Colin

@MatthewKing Ok thats good to know. If you mean literal woods it could be a case of inference in the GPS signal caused by tree cover. The trimble units should utilize more satellite satellite constellations and could therefore be less affected by this. To more directly answer your original question -- we tap in to the iOS devices core location provider to get locations for tracks; whether this is coming from an external GPS, internal GPS, or other source, we are always looking in the same place. We can use the battery optimization setting to ensure we are always requesting locations instead of relying on on your activity detection at times, but this will not filter out "bad" locations from a GPS. I am curious if you still have some tracks with these bad locations on your device? We have a setting called Smart Rendering in the Track Display options (Layers tool > Options under My Tracks > Smart Rendering). Its On by default meaning low quality points would be filtered from the Map view. This wont stop these locations from being recorded but it may give you a better idea of when/where this is happening. Regards, Colin

Sorry for the delay in getting back. Yes I was thinking of something similar using arcade so I am glad you arrived at that. It is something the team is researching how to better handle in the future (brackets vs no brackets). Thanks! Colin

Hi @MatthewKing , You could try turning off Wifi on the iPad; its possible you are picking up errant locations from nearby wifi signals. Better yet we have recently added a setting in the profile settings in Field Maps to toggle "battery optimization" which is on by default. Try toggling this setting off and see if you get better results as this increases the frequency of location requests which should be restricted to the GPS. Keep it mind this may be more costly on terms of battery performance. I hope this helps! Regards, Colin

Yes, I think that makes sense. I am not sure exactly how you configured the popup, but have you tried using Arcade to generate the URL? I wonder if that would make a difference.

@nspittlemeister_LCFPD are you able to reach out to Support regarding this? It seems like Web app builder is adding brackets when a simple Web Map does not. Field Maps expects the globalID without the brackets so that is why the feature is not being found. Regards, Colin

@MatthewGeorge Update: We should support rotation on the Tab Active 2 device at our next Android release (21.4). The cutoff for rotation is at 601 dpi (which is not typically readily available on device product pages) or roughly screens around 7". Regards, Colin

Hi @Anonymous User We do not have support for searching on non-spatial tables. For a non-spatial table the only way to access the record (in Collector/Field Maps) is going through the parent feature. Search is limited by this factor. I suggest reaching out to Support and logging an enhancement if this severely limits your workflows. Regards, Colin
