Hi @elpinguino , What device(s) are you field workers using and what is the OS version? From the screenshots it does seem like the environment is somewhat open; would there be anything that might interfere with the GPS signal? From the explanation and screenshots it does seem like there are instances where a track point is not being added and this is typically because a GPS fix was not available or had not updated since the last one.  I haven't asked yet if she has battery saver or anything like that on her phone turned on, but I didn't think that would effect My tracks in this situation either. Are you referring to battery saver at the Operating system level or the battery optimization setting in Field Maps? Due to the issues you are reporting I would recommend turning both off if possible. The Field Maps setting is designed to shut off the GPS temporarily if no motion is detected by the device, which could explain some of the gaps you see. Its up to internal sensors in the device to determine if you are "in motion" so this can be variable from device to device. Taking this out of the equation can help troubleshoot the problem.  ... @elpinguino have you or the field workers observed what happens after the 8 hours expires on the device or is the device typically already stored for the day at this point? What do they observe in the app when they come back the next day? Also, it will help to know which device/platform this is occurring on and I can take a deeper look.  I cant speak to FME but I could see how it could be a conversion problem as well. I know you mentioned it was resolved but just for some context. That message should only show when you are attempting to add a new point/vertex at your gps location but that location is stale ie the app has not received a new location from your GPS within the last few seconds or longer. When this occurs your current location display in the map, ie blue dot, should turn grey to indicate the location is stale and there should be text in the GPS details indicating the last time it was updated as well. A stale location can happen when you lose your GPS fix by moving indoors, under heavy tree canopy or around many high rise buildings among other reasons. I hope this helps! ... View more

Hi @KatelynO , this sounds like a known issue that we are investigating and should have an update out that addresses this in the near future. For reference, there is a public bug number here: BUG-000168946 For now, can you try adjusting the photo size in the Collection settings to something less than "Actual"? The in-app camera was added recently and the benefit is that you do not need to leave the app to take a photo in another app (the default OS camera app); it may not be obvious but this is what happens when you go to take a photo attachment. There can be instances where the OS can kill an app (Field Maps) when it enters the background depending on memory usage and availability and using the in-app camera would avoid these situations. The in-app camera may not have some of the tools that the devices default camera may have so that is a potential drawback if those are needed.  If you notice that Field Maps seems to reset after you take a photo or that you are missing data afterwards it could be the scenario I described above and using the in-app camera would help.  If you are still having issues, i'm curious what happens when you open the feature popup again after submitting, assuming you dont see the thumbnail after initially submitting the feature. Are you able to successfully edit the same features in ArcGIS Pro or within the web map in ArcGIS Online? >5. Tested with a new simple feature layer; issue persists. Im glad that its working after signing in again. It sounds like you were previously signed in but the app had been idle for about two weeks, can you confirm this? It can be helpful to diagnose what might have went wrong. Your token should be valid for 90 days.  I can also take back your UI feedback to the team. There should be a message displayed when we detect that there is no connectivity to the portal but that message may not be persistent or not showing for you for some reason. Ideally it would be clearer in any cases where a connection cannot be established. In most cases swiping down on the map list should attempt to reconnect to your portal and reload your maps and swiping away and reopening the app should fully re-load the portal and user so im surprised that didnt work for you. Hi @ZacharyUhlmann1 , is your account on ArcGIS Online or Enterprise? A few of things you can try, assuming you have data/wifi connectivity on this device. First, try swiping down on the Maps list to reload it. If this does not work, swipe away the app to force close it and then relaunch it; this should attempt to re-connect to the portal. As a last resort, you can try signing out and then back in again. The app is restricted to only locally available maps when no connection to the portal is available. If you have verified you have connectivity one of the steps above should get your maps back and if not we can help dig further.  ... View more

Hello, there is an in-app camera setting now in the Android version of Field Maps. If you are having issues capturing photos in Field Maps using the default OS camera it is worth a shot trying this out. Its found under the Collection Settings in the Profile in the app.  Did you notice if the app itself was resetting after adding a new photo? Are you losing any edits that are in progress when adding a photo? ... View more

Hi @AndrewBraun , you dont seem to be running into an accuracy constraint but rather the position coming from the GPS is stale. If you were falling outside of the required accuracy the message would be slightly different. If you tap to open the GPS details there is a row right at the top that shows when the GPS was last updated ie "Updated just now". What does this say for you when you receive this message?
