Willy, Excellent news. Is the fix for the browser redirect or a correction in the login screen? This issue with ArcGIS Pro has been resolved in their V2.8 Thanks

Willy, Any indication of timelines of when this might be completed? Only asking as we would like to evaluate this product from an end user perspective and at the moment it's dead to us. Thanks

WillyLi, I displayed the debugging screen and found a 401 error on the my company's url for ADFS. I went back to the configuration for ArcGIS Pro 2.7, removed the 'SignInFromBrowser' registry setting and monitored the http traffic. The same blank signin screen & same error in the url occurred in ArcGIS Pro signin as it did for ArcGIS Earth

WillyLi, This is the version I'm using. I downloaded it on Aug 5th 2021 Our Enterprise deployment is 10.7.1 hosted in AWS using Azure AD for SAML. Is there anything in particular you need me to find out?

Willy, Thanks for looking into this. This issue does impact my work on assessing the application as our authentication to Portal is via SAML only. We do have inbuilt accounts for admin work only. Regards

Hi there, Is anybody experiencing the blank screen when trying to log into portal via enterprise login? This experience is very very similar to the known issue seen in ArcGIS Pro 2.7 when not using the browser to sigin. I'm hoping there is registry setting & portal redirect that can be applied similar to the fix in ArcGIS Pro. Thanks

Hi there, I'm currently using ArcGIS Pro 2.5.1 and have a few project (aprx) files with user defined group templates. I would like to copy these into 1 aprx file to distribute amongst my team. At the moment I've been told the only way to do this is to place the objects, save, open the other file, select the new objects and then save these as the template within the file I just opened. I know there is a way to get a handle on them using arcpy & CIM objects (eg. open aprx file, get map, find the layer, getDefinition('V2'), loop through the featureTemplates, etc.) which I have been able to do but can't find the way of then adding them to the other project file and I have coded the same as above to get to the same spot/objects of where they need to go. Any help in the area would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Christopher, Thank you for this information and this is very useful. I have started to review the documentation and have already started to think of more questions to ask around this.

Hi there, I have setup ArcGIS Pro V2.5 to use a local folder to load in several .esriAddinX files from the Add-In Manager option What is the best practice/correct way to store the .esriAddinX files in this directory? Option 1 - Is it the files straight in the directory Option 2 - Should they be in their individual folder (eg. GUID - ID from the config.daml file) and then the file which is the same if you double-click the file and it's installed in your 'Documents' folder The get started documentation talks about 'manually copying the file to a well-known folder'. What does it really mean by this? After this is known, now for the next part. With all these .estiAddinX files, how are they processed? Is it based on the filename alphabetically in the folder and it processes the tab, groups, etc per file and hope for the best it all loads correctly Or Does it read all the info in config.daml files, determines the tabs to add, which new groups to add to new/existing tabs and then the other controls, etc? Thank you for any help in this area is greatly appreciated

Larry, The electricity distribution company I work for has approx. 1.5M poles with another 23M features (24M total) and 15M associations which are mainly attachments & containments that is going into our first deployment of the Utility Network. I'm not expecting any user to manually move site objects (eg. pole) if the number is more than say 100. I will want to generate a list of IDs (eg from a GUID field in our case) and then process them programmatically. Same for integration - no user intervention at all. Looks like I'm going to become very familiar with ArcGIS Pro's SDK. Thanks for this

Are you really thinking of implementing something with that many columns? I'm really interested in your use case for this. Thanks

Larry, You are correct in that I'm looking at a way to programmatically move site objects (eg. pole, streetlight column, pillar/pedestal, pad) and have all associated equipment (eg. attached crossarm along with its contained overhead wire attachment (electricjunction) which is connected to overhead conductors/wires (electricline), switches (electricdevice) attached, etc) move with it staying in its relative position to the site (eg. crossarm is still offset in Xm & Ym from the site location) I was hoping since ArcGIS Pro had this code implemented to perform this function in tool that it would be available in the SDK to produce a consistent result. Some use cases to use this functionality would be around cadastral shift, site location correction from field staff where the location update comes from an EAM/ERP system (integration), etc. Thank you for answering this question as I can now stop looking within the SDK to see if this existed. Since Esri Inc has already implemented this in the Move tool, are you able to give an tips/tricks/workflow on how the team achieved this? Thanks again

Hi there, I was wondering if anybody could please point me in the right direction relating to where/how to set a property that defines not to Disconnect for moving features. We are trying to use the modify method from EditOperation() with no luck regarding not having disconnected features. Basically I want to be able to do what can be done from this screenshot - Move the pole and everything else moves with it (eg. Disconnect network features for move is turned off). Thank you for any time with this

Currently implementing UN on ArcGIS Enterprise 10.7.1 using ArcGIS Pro 2.5.2 I have seen in our current data migration many Type 8 errors are appearing due to other errors (eg. Type 25 - Stacked points). In the Stacked Points scenario, a junction-edge rules exists for both ElectricJunction to the ElectricLine features which are valid but the Type 8 error appears. It seems like the Type 25 error is causing the rest of topology validation to fail. When the stacked features is resolved (eg. second feature Z value adjusted) and the junction/edge features is untouched, the validation errors disappear when it's revalidated which suggests there was no Type 8 error to begin with. Has anybody seen or experienced this Thanks for any help with this
