I also had this problem. My logo file name had caps, not the extension. By changing the file name to lowercase and removing spaces, it worked! Thanks everyone for the tips to get it fixed!

I am running a python script to create map tile packages from a series of maps containing imagery within an ArcPro project. The code halts when it gets to "Map 3". There is no Map 3 in my ArcPro project. When I click on the drop down arrow to see the list of maps, it is not there. However, when I open the "Create Map Tile Package" geoprocessing tool it sees a Map 3. How do I get rid of relic maps? This has happened to me many times before. See the images below. I created a survey form in the desktop version of Survey123 Connect for the collection of insect information in an apple orchard. My client needs the insect count field left blank to indicate that they did not check a trap; a 0 in the field would mean they checked the trap and found no insects. If I set the field to required, a 0 is automatically populated in the field. How do I write a note using the 'relevant' field to ask them if they are sure the insect count field should be null? So far I have tried: ${Codling_Moth_Male}=NaN ${Codling_Moth_Male}==NaN ${Codling_Moth_Male}=null ${Codling_Moth_Male}=<NULL> The first one, ${Codling_Moth_Male}=NaN, lets the form run properly but does not provide a note when the field is left blank.

I would like to open a layer's attribute table in Map Viewer (not Classic), click on a line to highlight a feature, then click on something to zoom to that selected feature. The "Center on Selection" option is missing in the attribute table settings menu (compared to Map Viewer Classic), and double clicking on a line like we do in good ol ArcPro or Arc Map does nothing too. Help!

Have you read about Favorite answers? This might be a good solution for you. Thank you @simoxu for the article. The article shows how you can check for a feature by specifying the feature's title or ID. Do you know how I could use this to recursively search for a feature as part of an if statement, and if True, then skip over the layer or replace it?

I get an error saying that the layer already exists in AGOL, and the code stops running. My problem is that I run code to upload a bunch of files, and if an error occurs, the code stops. I fix the problem, but before I can run the code again, I have to delete the files in AGOL that were uploaded prior to the error. Otherwise, I get the error saying the files already exist in AGOL. Its a pain, and I would like to use "OverwriteOutput = True" or something along the lines of "ifExists" but I havent been able to get anything to work.

I am uploading about 40 zip files to AGOL as shapefiles being published as feature layers using a Jupyter Notebook. Just about all of the zip files are shapefiles but I have discovered a few are actually geodatabases zipped up. Each time the program finds a gdb, it stops and I get an error. I have to rename the folder, go into AGOL and delete ALL the layers before it that were just created, then rerun the program until it hits another gdb. Then I repeat those steps. I tried using " if arcpy.Exists" but that only checks for existence in the folder on my drive, not on AGOL. Erica - would it be easier to create a new feature layer that just represents gull counts? That would ensure that when you call : Site_Inspections_lyr = Site_Inspections.layers[0] it would pull from the correct table.

Hi Jianxia, I need to create a web application where my client can use a buffer around specified points to see associated feature layer information. Specifically, my client is interested in evaluating commercial land parcels for their ability to be developed. So when a land parcel is selected, I want to have a specified buffer around the land parcel also select any utilities in the area as well as any environmental layers like flood zones that lie within the buffer. The buffer distance would be set by the user. Then, this information could be put into a report for printing. The list below contains widget I believe I would use. I have been paralyzed trying to figure out which path to take (WAB vs ExB vs build my own) so I havent actually started developing the web map yet. Would it be possible to create a web app using ExB, then download it, edit it with these widgets, then publish it on a website? This is a similar approach to what I understand I would need to do with WAB if I want to add in custom widgets. Hi Jianxia Song, Are the Experience Build widgets built using JavaScript 4X? I took an ESRI class recently on how to use the JavaScript 4x API expecting to use it to customize the WAB widgets. I was very disappointed to learn the WAB widgets use JS 3X so the class was irrelevant for WAB. I currently use WAB for web map development and need to customize widgets for a client. It will be very frustrating if WAB and ExB use a different JavaScript format than 4X, especially since ESRI now has a large library of sample code for widgets using JS4X. Is there a way to bring in these widgets to Experience Builder now? Thanks, Natalie

For anyone else that finds themselves with this problem, the answer did lie in the projection. If I create a polygon feature layer in AGOL, it will have the WGS 84 coordinate system and give wonky area calculations. To solve this, I opened the feature layer in ArcPro, assigned a State Plane coordinate system, and calculated the area in ArcPro in the layer's attribute table. To check my work, I opened the feature layer in AGOL and used the "draw area" tool in a web map to verify the measured area matches the calculated area, and it did. I also created another data column and calculated the areas in AGOL, again to verify the areas are the same.
