Hi Florence Thanks for providing your demo survey. This issue has already been identified and we're looking into it - I will endeavour to keep this thread updated with any progress. A workaround in the meantime is to add a name (in the name column) for each note question. Please give it a try and let me know if this works for you. Thanks & regards, Jim

Hi Vijay When adding an image as the web page background in Survey123's Web Designer, ensure the image item is shared correctly and that you're using the URL that can be copied in the bottom-right of the item details page (not the URL of the item details page itself): For more on this please refer to the "Making image assets available to Web Designer" section in this useful blog: https://community.esri.com/groups/survey123/blog/2018/11/01/introducing-custom-themes-in-survey123-web-designer Best regards, Jim

Hi Leif Thanks for your query. It sounds like cascading selects is what you're after, however this is not currently supported for select_multiple questions (only works with select_one). We have an open enhancement request to extend this functionality to select_multiple questions; I will add your case to it and endeavour to keep this thread updated with any progress. Best regards, Jim

Hi Oussama You're almost there! Please try something like this (note the commas and single quotes): concat('<a href="arcgis-survey123://?itemID=ec998f5e1d984bc5bb139c6e85040e7f&field:province=',${Province},'">237 Daily Report</a>') With concat() the values to concatenate must be separated by commas. The concat() function is described here: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/survey123/desktop/create-surveys/xlsformformulas.htm Also to reference another question in a calculation, use the ${question_name} syntax. Hope this helps, please let me know how it goes. Best regards, Jim

Hi Joe Thanks for your query. The submission_url should look like the first option you mention, i.e. https://www.arcgis.com/sharing/rest/content/items/<itemId> (item ID of the target feature service). Accessing a related table usually requires a combination of submission_url and form_id. As Francesca mentioned, if form_id is blank the survey attempts to target a layer in the feature service with the same name as the XLS file. Note that the safest & easiest way to build a survey from an existing feature service is to use the New Survey > Feature Service option in Survey123 Connect. Connect will automatically create an XLSForm based on the fields in the feature service (including its related tables as repeats), which can then be modified to suit your needs before publishing. Working with existing feature services is covered in detail in this very useful blog post: https://community.esri.com/groups/survey123/blog/2017/09/25/working-with-existing-feature-services-in-survey123-for-arcgis And documented here: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/survey123/desktop/create-surveys/survey123withexistingfeatureservices.htm Which will also lead you to this technical article: https://support.esri.com/en/technical-article/000014835 Hope this helps, please let us know how it goes. Hi Ronnie Thanks for the details. For the webhook to work in the field app, the survey must be downloaded/updated on the field app after the webhook has been created (so that the webhook details are downloaded to the app with the survey). Could you please confirm whether you have updated (re-downloaded) the survey on the field app since you created the webhook with Integromat? Thanks & best regards, Jim

Hi Ben Thanks for the additional feedback, I've added your comments to our internal discussion and will certainly let you know of any progress. In the meantime, there might be other third party modules in Integromat that could covert the DOCX to PDF; I haven't investigated this so unsure of the options but could be worth checking out. Good catch re: the .docx file extension! Cheers, Jim

Hi Pedro You are referring to editing a survey that has repeats from the Inbox, is that correct? By adding "query" to the bind::esri:parameters column you should be able to access the existing records in the repeat when opening an existing survey response. If you want to allow users to edit these existing records, include allowUpdates=true. You can enter both of these parameters separated by a space, i.e. allowUpdates=true query For more information on the various parameters for editing repeats please see: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/survey123/desktop/create-surveys/prepareforediting.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_80CFFC9C38654DC293D4F36C5376C62E Please let me know if this helps. Kind regards, Jim

Hi, Thanks for providing your XLSForm and CSV files. It's likely the space in the "stop code" column header caused the XML error in the web app - please see comments here on a related issue and also documented here. Looking at your XLSForm, the pulldata syntax is correct. However, select_one questions return the value from the name column on the choices sheet, not its label, so the pulldata function is trying to match the intersection name in the csv with the number from the name column on the choices sheet. With that in mind, you could use just the select_one (without the need for a pulldata csv) by putting all the stop numbers in the name column on the choices sheet and their respective intersections in the label column. The user selects the intersection from a select_one question (e.g. 'stopnum'), and then the value (in this case the stop number in the name column) is written to another field by using ${stopnum} as the calculation. Hope this helps, any queries please let me know. Best regards, Jim

Hi Ben, great to hear this was useful. To answer your questions: 1. In the attachments settings in the Gmail module you can select "Map" for the source file, which allows you to specify a different filename. You can enter the filename manually or have it populated from parts of a payload. 2. We are currently researching methods for PDF output for feature reports and we're looking to implement this in a future release. No timeline available as yet but I'll endeavour to keep this thread updated. Cheers, Jim

Hi, Thanks for the additional feedback. That is strange; for the surveys that appear to be OK - were these downloaded to Connect at any point? Is there more than one thumbnail image file in the survey folder? Thanks, Jim

Hi Ben Nice work with the scenario. The trick here is to use the HTTP Get a file module between the Create feature report and Gmail modules. This module will retrieve the output DOCX file, which can then be attached to your email. The URL to the file is in the resultFiles part of the payload: Over on our EAC there's a short video demonstrating the Create feature report action. Please see the link at the bottom of this post. UPDATE: For more info please refer to this very useful GeoNet blog post: https://community.esri.com/groups/survey123/blog/2019/06/04/survey123-tricks-of-the-trade-integromat. The Working with Survey123 attachments section covers how to retrieve a file using the HTTP module and include it as an email attachment. Best regards, Jim
