I've been complaining about this very issue, it was functionality that was introduced into ArcPro in version 2.9 I think. It breaks all sort of model logic. So in response to this ESRI have not accepted it was a bad idea, get rid of it, they just put in an option to turn it off /on. I have it turned off! Go to application options > Modelbuilder tab > and turn it off!

If your text is always Abc (x.y.z) format, as in your abbreviations are always in brackets, then you could use this piece of Arcade: var i = Find('(',$feature.name1);
var n = Count($feature.name1);
var x = (n - i);
var rTXT = Upper(Right($feature.name1, x));
var lTXT = Proper(Left($feature.name1, i));
return Concatenate([lTXT,rTXT]); In my test data the text field is called name1, you would use NAME. Code works by locating the first open bracket and then uses that location to pull out the right text to set UPPER and the left text to set PROPER.

I would like to add to this idea and say the single measure is the default method for the tool. I would say I more often want to measure a single distance rather than than sequence of segments. I agree that its quite irritating to have to keep clearing the dialog to understand what it is I am measuring!

Sounds like you want to be calling exportToJPEG() on MapView? There is sample code at bottom of help page.

I've experienced the same issue and never found a solution. You say you have some complex models, in my experience it's often easier to convert your model into a script; easier to maintain, none of this model remembering stuff issue, easier to edit and of cause a lot easier for looping within loops. I would recommend making the jump to python script if your model is large and cumbersome.

You say "...very few users make use of the field description functionality [in arcpro].". Well not me, I use that functionality in the metadata all the time to describe what the field is and how it was calculated. What you have hit on is the inability of ArcPro to upload that vital information in the metadata into the AGOL field description of the hosted feature layer and ESRI need to tackle that break down in communication. It's a shame that it is happening as it severs the data from all that valuable information one has spent time entering and as you say you have to end up doing double entry. ☹️

Amazing to hear AML still being used! Out of interest have you tried writing the output of the raster to point tool to a file geodatabase on the c:\ drive of the machine, is the performance any better?

If you study the help file on the searchcursor, look at the syntax section, all the inputs have a @ character, so if you want to return a geometry object you need to set the field name to be shape@, you are using shape. I would suggest you explore the use of the Find Identical tool and Delete Identical tools to simplify your code, you don't need to be using cursors for this task.

You say "The feature is hosted on a database server.", is that ArcGIS Online or some Portal that your organization has set up? May be its a view of the data you are accessing and ArcPro is honouring some sort of definition question whereas ArcMap is ignoring it? As a belt and braces approach, try exporting the data to a local file geodatabase and see if there is the expected number of records in your dataset?

Are you saying your data has 1575 fields (columns) or 1575 row (records)? It's unclear what you mean by referring to them as attributes.

So whats the problem? You make a vague statement about what you are doing but give zero detail. What are the inputs, what are the errors, what is it you want? Suggest you add significantly more detail.

Sounds like you need to use the Calculate Value tool to extract out the path the raster is coming from and another Calculate value tool to build the path you want to store it in.

You permanently join fields using the Join Field tool. As for you second issue, you say "color looks difficult", what does that mean??? Edit you question, may be a screen shot to explain why you think the colour looks "difficult"?

There are several ways to achieve this, the easiest would be with a few lines of python code. As you don't state in your question if python is an option I assume you are looking for a non-coding solution? The tool Feature Vertices To Points allows you to specify which vertices, in your case end-points that should be extracted. Then is a matter of creating a new field in your line dataset and populating it with a do I flip or do I not flip the line value. You achieve that by selecting the end points using your SUB point layer (select by layer tool) and using that selection to pass the selection back to you lines and update that field. Then a final step is select all lines using your field you want to run the flip tool on.
