I see. So are you saying that, in our current configuration, it's expected that the user goes to/types in the HTTPS version of the URL vs. trying to type in the HTTP and having to refresh the browser to be sent to the HTTPS version of it? That is what happens now when you first try to go to http://telecoupling.msu.edu/geo-app vs. https://telecoupling.msu.edu/geo-app

After I clear cache and cookies and try to access either via http or https, in both cases I get that buffering load with associated console error. (This is my current app built with WAB2.5....not WAB2.7 that was giving me that other http strange error I need to open a ticket for).

I checked. Inside the config.json section this is what I have: and inside the /DotNet folder >> proxy.config file, I have: So unless I am missing something, I see both http and https inside my proxy config.

Rob, will do...thanks for all your help. Please allow me to also ask you about a similar error (on the current webapp) when launching it for the very first time (cleared cache and cookies). See image below. This error disappears as soon as I refresh the browser and the webapp finally stops buffering and starts correctly. Do you have any pointers on why the page won't load the first time and throw that error?

Is this something worthy of opening a ticket with the ESRI team or anything else you think I can look up on my end to make sure everything is the same...? Thanks Rob!

Rob, Our University organizational account with AGOL requires us to have everything on https protocols. When I first registered Web AppBuilder as a web mapping application in my AGOL account a while ago, I had provided both http and https as Redirect URIs following the ESRI instructions...Our web services (GP etc.) are all hosted on an Amazon EC2 machine with an SSL meant to enable this type of https secure communication between our web app and all the web services consumed in it. When I installed 2.7, as you suggested, I simply followed the ESRI instructions to upgrade our apps from 2.5 to 2.7..then I downloaded the zipped app and deployed to our web server like we have always done in the past. Before, anytime the user typed http://<our_domain>/<our_web_app> it automatically redirected and changed the URL to https in the browser. Now, it seems like we get that error if I type http...

Rob, I updated WAB Dev Edition to v2.7 as you suggested...when I launch the app in test mode, now the Attribute Table seems to show the table(s) correctly. However, then I deploy the updated app to our hosting web server and go to the URL of the web app, I now get this message (see image below). It seems to only happen when I type "http://" at the beginning of the app URL, not then I type "https://". We never got this error before when deploying using v2.5. Thanks!

Hello, I am trying to use the MODIS Terra/Aqua true color (with or without correction) from the Living Atlas in my web map. However, when I "time-enable" the imagery stream, I can only see as far back as 2012, and also nothing farther than 2013. Am I using the wrong imagery stream for the Atlas? Can anyone help me figure this out?

MPobuda-esristaff SWalbridge-esristaff could any of you guys in the R team help me figure this out? Server deployments of GP services using R tools seem to be having these sort of issues explained above as well as the one posted on github for writing to scratch workspaces. Thanks!

I am still encountering a series of severe issues when deploying custom GP services that use R-bridge on Server architectures. I am using ArcServer 10.4.1, R 3.4.0 (64bit) and have installed R-bridge. Seems like the issue of "bug in arc.env()$workspace READ-ONLY on server deployments" still has not been solved to allow use of the arc.env() setting for writing derived output of a GP service into the default ESRI scratch folder. However, even when hardcoding the full path on the server to one of my own folders registered in the data store (see image below), the GP service will not create a working output URL for textual files. ... As you can see the derived output is set up correctly in out_params[[1]] <- out_pdf and when run on ArcGIS Desktop the GP tool work as expected, generating the output file in the hardcoded folder on the server. When published as a GP service however, this leads to an error (below) where the URL does not point to the hardcoded file in the D:\\ drive. Error says INVALID URL (Code 400). Can anyone provide some help with this and let me know if there is any workaround?

Sure. That option was already unchecked (see image 1 below). The specific resource was just pulled for example from LivingAtlas using the Add Data Widget...I just picked US countries to pick one. However, when I use the Add Data and pick a zipped shapefile from my local PC, and then click on View Attribute Table from the Layer List, it still buffers not loading and I do not get any errors in the console...(image 2).

But that should not be the source of errors in my dev tools and why the attribute table won't open correct?

Thanks! How would I correct the (minor issue) addition of .woff2 as mime type? I am not familiar with what that is...I am using it off a WAB dev edition (2.5) customized template. Here is the expanded version of 2 of the >>f errors:
