Arcgis Pro metadata does not use the XLST transformation. Are you suggesting an idea for it?

You are mixing apples and oranges here: a buffer distance is a linear distance measurement: " I want to create a buffer around my polygons that extends 25 feet from the edge. Area of a polygon is in square units of measurement: " I have a polygon that is 500 square feet: 50% of 500 square feet is 250 square feet". What is the equation to enlarge an irregularly shaped polygon such that the original shape is maintained? I'm not smart enough to figure that out. Maybe somebody else can... @DanPatterson : you are a way better mathematician than I'll ever hope to be...

@KieranClark : I followed your advice as well as post from @KenGalliher1 and I've established a MySQL connection through ArcGIS Pro (2.7.1) but I get an error when I try to add a table to my ArcGIS Pro session: I can get to this data base (which is web hosted) using WorkBench without any problem. Any ideas?

Has the instructor provided a geocoding service with which to match your address table? If your class has an AGOL account you can upload the spreadsheet and it'll geocode the addresses for you that way. It takes AGOL credits though; your instructor should have all that set up for you. (In theory...)

Take a look at the help page. It provides: Batch calculation and validation rules in an enterprise geodatabase are evaluated using the validation server for datasets that are branch versioned. To add these rule types, the database connection must have Versioning Type set to Branch.

What type of versioning are you using: Branch or Traditional? We been working with Branch versioning and a number of attribute rules without any problem.
