I just took a look at the help topic Import An ArcMap Document and it looks like importing an ArcMap mpk file is a fairly rigorous task and I suspect there isn't an arcpy method available to do it.

I tried downloading that data and it was taking too long for me. If you've downloaded it, expand your file explorer columns to show the extension. Using the word 'beta' in a website name is a red flag to me....

And just automagically spit that out? Sounds like a great python project but I'm not aware of a specific tool.

Perhaps apply arcpy.MakeFeatureLayer() on your feature classes first and reference those feature layers (in memory) to make your spatial selections. Just a guess...

Your expression needs to be SQl compatible, not arcpy or python compatible. I think the !FieldName! references are what is sinking your ship. Here are a couple of examples of select expressions I have used in the past: #UNIQUE_ID is a Character Type of Field...
expression = "UNIQUE_ID = '0' Or UNIQUE_ID IS NULL"
expression = 'CAST(UNIQUE_ID as INT) >= 15000000' One way to test selection expressions with the the select tool. Here I am using ArcGIS Pro with two numeric fields:

I created a new empty feature class and then appended features into it from another feature. When I zoomed to that new feature class, it zoomed way out as if the extent was whacked; and it was. So I used the recalculate feature class extent tool and it was still whacky. Then I recalculated the the spatial index and it zooms correctly. However, when I look at the feature class properties I see these Max/Mins: But when I use arcpy.Describe I get slightly different values: fc = r'N:\GIS\AddressDataManagement\FixSLCoMistakes\FixSLCoMistakes.gdb\SubdivsionsMagna'
desc = arcpy.Describe(fc)
xmin = desc.extent.XMin
xmax = desc.extent.XMax
ymin = desc.extent.YMin
ymax = desc.extent.YMax
print(f'Xmin = {xmin} Xmax = {xmax} Ymin = {ymin} Ymax = {ymin}')
Xmin = 1471194.3071583062 Xmax = 1484253.9831386397 Ymin = 7418358.292630732 Ymax = 7418358.292630732 Two questions: 1. Why did I need to recalc the spatial index to get my extents to behave? 2. Why do I see different values between the properties pane and arcpy.Describe?

Can you describe your workflow? How are you trying do get the results you are after in ArcGIS Online? What are your desired results? Here is my take on your issue: you have some data that you want to 'geo-locate' via the 3 digit zip value. However, you are unable to do so. To geo-locate (or geocode as I prefer) a piece of information, you need to match your data to a some geographic data. For example, if you have a list of street addresses in the form of '1234 S Main St' you might want to match that to GIS feature of centerlines that is set up to interpolate the position of that address on a centerline segment. In all the years I've been geocoding (close to 20 now), I've never heard of the three digit zip code had to google it. What you need is a GIS feature class of those three digit zipcodes to match to. I just did a search in ArcGIS Online / Living Atlas and only found standard zip codes. I'm not sure where you would find a GIS feature layer of them; you may need to do some digging or create your own.

LOL... I've made a career out of disappointing warm and friendly ESRI people! I've only got 17 working days left until retirement and I bet there are a few that will be happy to see me go! Also it's sort an unwritten part of my job to test things and decide when to upgrade. Very, very wise.

@Brian_Wilson - there is always a lag with the various components when working with so many different pieces. We have an unwritten rule of Current Enterprise - 1. It's a hassle when you start tossing in things like parcel fabric. So many moving parts...

I think I have found more bugs in 2.9+10.9 in the last three weeks than any release since ArcMap 8.0. I suggest not using pro 2.9 and roll back to 2.8.# or 2.7.# (Not .0) We did a pilot project with branch versioning a few months ago, and it worked splendidly. I cannot remember what version of enterprise we were testing but I don't think it could have been 10.9; must have been some flavor of 10.8. All that said, once you get those wrinkles ironed out, I think you'll find that Branch Versioning rules while Traditional Versioning drools...

Below is a basic template you can follow: this is an attribute rule that fires upon insertion or modification of a site address point and returns the value of the ZIP field of an underlying polygon called "MSD.SLCOMSD.ZipcodesMSD" (a feature class in our Enterprise/SDE db) to the site address point feature. The if/else block is key as it checks to be sure there is a valid intersection between the point feature and the respective underlying polygon. Also, all of your features need to be in the same $datastore which is ESRI/Arcade for database. var zip = FeatureSetByName($datastore,"MSD.SLCOMSD.ZipcodesMSD",["ZIP"], true)
var intersectLayer = Intersects(zip, Geometry($feature))
if (Count(intersectLayer) > 0) {
var layer = First(intersectLayer);
return layer.ZIP;
} else {
return null;
}
