How to remove a layer from the Legend widget in Developer Addition Web App Builder? We are programmatically adding a Grid layer to the map using JavaScript API, not the Web Map, and would like to hide the layer from the Legend Widget when we add this layer to the map. This is how we add the layer to the map in the application: var grid = new ArcGISDynamicMapServiceLayer("<mapserver>", { "opacity" : 1.0, "imageParameters" : imageParameters }); this.map.addLayer(grid); grid.setVisibility(false); Upon clicking a checkbox, the layer is set to visible = true. We would like for this layer not to be added to the Legend widget as it is a simple 1 x 1 grid of the globe. Thank you for your time.

Hi Alexander, Thanks for your response. We were not aware of that class. Is there more documentation other than the link above that show how to implement this for a dynamic map service layer such as radar on Android? We are very interested to enable time on several map services.

Hello Sushant, We have not been able to find a Time Extent solution using the older 10.2.8 version of the Android SDK either. There seems to be documentation although, we are unable to apply the time extent to the dynamic map service layer. Keep us informed if you find a solution.

We see there is a way to close an off-panel widget, although using openWidget(widgetID) is not working. This is the code to close: WidgetManager. getInstance().closeWidget('widgets_DailyTimeSeries_Widget_19') How would we open? Thanks!

Greetings, Any developers had success creating and visualizing time aware layers (dynamic or image services) with the ArcGIS Runtime SDK for Android? There is very little documentation on this layer type. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Elise, Do you know if the ArcGIS Runtime SDK for Android 10.2.8 supports time aware image service layers. I'm not seeing any methods for Dynamic Map Services, as shown in the SDK documentation pages, such as setTimeExtent() Is this a bug also?

We have only had success with the KML files. We must add the KML files to the map before the basemap to keep the Mercator projection for the KML files to render properly. Have you found a solution for the TWMS service or WMS Layer yet?

Thanks for your response. We are hosting the application locally, and not able to click on the little orange dot anymore through Esri's initial web appbuilder and configuration process. Is there any code we can add to the configuration files to open the widget at startup? "openAtStart": true does not seem to work and using the Panel Manager opens a blank panel, rather than the widget and timeslider elements.

Hello, We have added a time enabled raster mosaic to web appbuilder with popups enabled. When we click on the map to display the popup for one particular date, the StdTime field displays the incorrect date in the popup. It displays one day ahead. The date stored in the raster mosaic StdTime is 01/01/1983, but the popup displays 12/31/1982. We believe the browser is converting the StdTime to Local Solar Time, therefore adjusting the date (01/01/1983 00 00 00) to (12/31/1982.) The question is, in Web Map, is it possible not to convert the StdTime field for the layers to local solar time and keep it at UTC in the popup? This can be achieved in ArcGIS Desktop, however, we haven't found a way in the Web Map, and alternatively the Web App. Please let us know if there is a config file or json file for the web map or web app popup configuration to achieve this. Thanks for your thoughts and help.

Robert, Thanks for the quick solution. Do you know if there is a method for programmatically opening a widget similar to the closePanel method: PanelManager.getInstance().closePanel(widgetid + ‘_panel’); This will be used to programmatically open the Layerlist widget once the user clicks "Ok" in the Splash widget. Thanks for your help!
