Hi @JennieCatalano1 The code sample here is a good guide for how to search for "FeatureService" from a Jupyter notebook: https://developers.arcgis.com/python/guide/accessing-and-creating-content/ Also, from the API for Python doco, adding here link to the "Item" class property "shared_with" which can indicate how the Feature Service item is shared: https://developers.arcgis.com/python/api-reference/arcgis.gis.toc.html?highlight=item#arcgis.gis.Item.shared_with So, the typical workflow would be to query Portal content and get all feature services, then loop over the list and find which is shared publicly.

Hi @JohnRitsko1 I got the app working, I just updated "locateBusRoutes" function to be like this // Locates Bus Routes within 1/4 Miles 1320 Feet function locateBusRoutes(geom) { // Acitivates the Legend Accordian Tab var container = dijit.byId("container"); container.selectChild("routePane", true); let query = busRoutes.createQuery(); query.outFields = ["NAME", "ROUTE_NEW"]; query.geometry = geom; busRoutes.queryFeatures(query) .then(function(response){ console.log("Here in layerView.queryFeature"); console.log(response); populateText(response); }); }; I can see the output in the results pane.

Good Day All, Writing to you from the Land Down Under, I have been in the GIS Professional Services for more than 10 years, building custom apps occupied a lot of my time, working with government and non-governments clients, I used to work with some of Middle East clients, now I am working with local/state/private Australian clients. I talk Javascript/Python, some C# DotNet. I like it here in ESRI Community, I am learning a lot from your questions and answers, I find it really informative to keep an eye on what people are discussing, plus I hope would be able to give a hand whenever I can.

Hi @MuhsinaSabeel I would suggest to use Pro or ArcMap, and tools like "Select By Attribute" and "Select Layer By Location" can definitely help in what you are after. First you need to select buildings that vacant using "Select By Attribute", export them to new layer. Use the exported layer in the second step which is using "Select Layer By Location" with relationship "Within a distance" to find empty buildings within the required distance for your analysis. https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/tool-reference/data-management/select-layer-by-location.htm https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/2.8/tool-reference/data-management/select-layer-by-attribute.htm

Hi @elpinguino I think you can use something like TeamViewer to be able to manage the device remotely. Regarding the FieldMaps, are you sure the latest version of the software is installed? looks like invalid cached temp files issue, you might need to use new Profile on this device to make sure you are using latest

Hi @KBKnight the source of the service layers is in your Enterprise Geodatabase? if yes, then I would suggest checking this doco page: https://geoportal.esdm.go.id/monaresia/portalhelp/en/server/latest/publish-services/linux/editor-tracking-for-feature-services.htm If no, I am not sure how to set that programmatically to be honest, interesting one.

there are some free alternatives, but I am not sure if you would be able to run/install any. If you can't install one, then you might need to build your own using .Net framework. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/api/system.threading.tasks.taskscheduler?view=net-5.0

Hi @developerarce I would suggest checking this code sample: https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/latest/sample-code/watch-for-changes/ It demonstrate how to check the status of the map view if moving/panning or at stationary. You can extend it to check for layers properties like "loadStatus" to detect if a layer finished loading or still loading. Regards Ihab

Hi @GFernando It is a bit unclear for me why do you want to run this from a Notebook. If your goal is to run this script daily then you can create a batch file that call Python and run the script, then add the file to a schedule task usign task Scheduler, that's if you are using Windows. Not sure about the alternatives for other OS. Regards Ihab
