I have a floating point raster image that is provided by ArcSDE through ArcGIS Server, as a mapping service. I am pretty sure that this service used to work with pop-ups. At some point the pop-ups quit working. I found a posting on the forum stating that rasters will not get a pop-up. On the help pages for Explorer online, I did not find it stated that rasters would not get a pop-up. Is there any way to get a pop-up to display for a raster? Thanks for any help, Paul Lohr

If I delete a feature from a feature service on an iOS device, that feature remains in the ArcGIS Explorer Online map. I realize that I have to trigger an update of the map by zooming or panning to see updates. But deleted features still do not disappear as they should. If I look at the same map on a different iOS device, the deleted feature goes away (as it should). Apparently the map has to be reloaded for the feature to disappear after it has been deleted. If I open a different map then go back to the map where I am expecting the feature to disappear, the feature is then gone (as it should be). This applies to map services of type FeatureServer.

There seems to be a problem when selecting which groups to share a map with. If I check a group near the bottom of the list, an additional unwanted group is automatically selected somewhere near the top of the list. Tested on Google Chrome and Internet Explorer 8. The problem only exists in ArcGIS Explorer Online - the problem does not exist in ArcMap.com interface. Paul Lohr

I haven't seen anything in the SDK that works with 3D data. What about using Google Earth with ArcGIS Server? Maybe not the best solution.

I've discovered that the search/query function on ArcGIS Explorer Online is case sensitive. Any way to make this case insensitive? Thanks for your help, Paul Lohr

It sounds like you need ArcGIS Server and a one-to-many relationship. The 'one' would be the gauge station and the 'many' would be the daily records containing date, stage, and velocity.

So you have: -an AGSGraphicsLayer with points and -an AGSGraphicsLayer with polygons correct? If this is the case, does the order in which the layers are added to the AGSMapView affect which layer responds to a tap when a polygon intersects a point? Not sure how to do what you are asking. What about putting the AGSGraphics into their AGSGraphicsLayer in reverse order? Of course this could be a problem if the AGSGraphics are the result of a query.

Do you have another map from your ArcGIS Servers area that you can switch to? Then switch back to the map you are having problems with. I don't know for certain, but perhaps maps in the ArcGIS Servers section of ArcGIS for iOS are cached separately from those maps coming from arcgis.com. Also I would try this without the VPN if the above does not correct the issue. The VPN may have nothing to do with the problem but I would want to eliminate the possibility.

How about adding the UIView under the AGSMapView, then adjust the transparency of the AGSMapView so the UIView can be seen?
