Hi Jack, I've never thought to pray to the gods of GIS, but I'll keep that in mind during my next roadblock! Ha! One little sneaky element that can cause this issue for us is if there is a 'premium content' layer in the webmap. These layers have a little blue shield icon that says "subscriber" in their details page. They can be hard to spot post-add as you have to go to each layer's details page and see. For instance, here is a layer that is a premium content layer and you can see the shield I'm referring to: https://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=658732a227624146ba8322a94bc6ad8c Unfortunately, ESRI doesn't yet give you any warning when you inadvertently put a layer into a public webmap. Perhaps you don't have many layers to check and can, at least, rule this potential out in your quest? Hope this helps! Katie Blue Water GIS

Hello ArcGIS Online Team, Our team had a few questions as we get ready to switch our content to HTTPS only and we were wondering if you could help? We've used the AGO Security Advisor (highly recommend this tool to others who see this thread) and identified the applications that are not HTTPS ready. Many of these applications have images or content coming from our web server (not an ArcGIS Server), where we do have the capability to switch to HTTPS. Our question- If we switch the web server content to HTTPS will the URLs in the AGOL apps automatically update to HTTPS or will they need to be manually updated (and in turn show mixed content warning)? Thanks in advance for any clarity!

George, So happy to hear that others are out there actively working on this as well! We have developed the following survey (still very much in draft form), but happy to share: https://survey123.arcgis.com/share/f02ecee40ba94752a6a454585374902f I'm working on the operations dashboard that would help 'command central' match the helpers and need. The slickest option for 'assigning' helpers to a need would be to utilize ESRI's Workforce, but I don't have experience with that ESRI product. We can, though, configure the Operations Dashboard to pass the helper and/or need survey data to a Web App Builder edit window WITHIN Operations Dashboard to allow them to update the file. I am in contact with ESRI about this and they have encouraged us to move forward on our own. It sounds like they are busy internally helping goverment/agencies as a priority, which makes total sense, but they encouraged us that 'something is better than nothing'. I'm happy to contact you directly over the phone or email if you want to start moving forward with development, George, or feel free to utilize us here at Blue Water as you need. We are willing to help wherever! katie@bluewatergis.com Thanks, Katie

Curt - Thanks for the reply and brainstorming start! Yes, I think all of the above questions would be great. My initial thought and plan was as follows: 1) Two surveys could be developed - one for helpers, one for folks needing help. The permissions could be set to private, only allowing the admins to see exact locations. 2) The survey data points could feed into an admin operations dashboard to allow for 'matching' of the right need and helper. 3) Filters in the dashboard to be configured to try to make admin job of matching needs to helpers as easy as possible. For example, filters of area, need type (grocery run, etc), etc. 4) Field in the data configured to allow admin to change need from "Open" to "Filled" - basically to be able to cross needs off as they are met. I worry about getting something set up that doesn't work smoothly....and then causing more harm than good. I'm willing to start with model development but was really hoping ESRI would jump in here and take charge. This is going to be a serious need in our community in a matter of days. Time is of the essence! Thanks, Katie

Great idea Curt!! Could you share your application and survey? I'd love to give suggestions and, with your permission, potentially use it locally for our businesses as well here in Bellingham, Washington. Thanks! Katie

The Zone Lookup configurable web app does much of what "Information Lookup", an older version web app we have been using does, EXCEPT for one crucial function: Allow us to store the search location that users enter into the application into a point layer. This allows us to track where users are searching in the application and run reporting to see where hot spots are. Thanks for considering this upgrade!

Krissy, Have you had any further help with this? If time is of the essence (and it surely is) you could create the Survey123 with the dorm room as a field, then relate it to your mapped data at a later point in ArcGIS Indoors. I have experience with Survey123 - but not ArcGIS Indoors, but assume this functionality would be easy to add. If you come up with a working solution could you share with the community? I'm sure there are colleges and institutions worldwide that would love to build off what you have started! Thanks, Katie

Hi All, As with everyone else, we are trying to address where our small organization can help play a role for our community in the midst of the Coronavirus. An obvious need here in our area (Northwest Washington) is a way to connect the people needing help with getting groceries, childcare, etc and the folks who are willing and able to do so. It seems like a Survey123 / Operations Dashboard (or other configurable web app) would be a great way to coordinate these needs and services. I do not currently see something pre-developed on the ESRI COVID-19 GIS Hub site. It would be ideal to have a pro develop a solution that could be easily deployed country/worldwide. Our small organization is happy to implement something locally, but ESRI is best suited to develop the larger structure and framework. Ideas? Thoughts? Thanks, Katie Gaut Blue Water GIS Bellingham, Washington

Hi Gayle, Yes - here is the live version: Race Up Rock Creek – Montana Trout Unlimited I think you should be able to download the dashboard and explore the configurations, but the fish layer that the dashboard is using has all the positions (current and previous) in the same layer with the position as an attribute. I then have a filter using this attribute. It's not ideal, but was a doable workaround. Feel free to contact me directly for more info! Thanks, Katie

Hello, We were excited with the new "Zone Lookup App", especially as the previous similar "Information Lookup" has moved to mature support. I was surprised today when looking to create an app with the new Zone Lookup that it doesn't appear to support this older feature of being able to store user input search location data into a point dataset. This was such an essential part of our use with the older Information Lookup app, that it makes this upgrade practically unusable for us. Am I missing something? Are there any work-arounds to add this functionality to the Zone Lookup App? Thank you, Katie

Could the community PLEASE have an update on this functionality from ESRI? Even if that update is, "Not coming ever". The ability to download the data is such a key component to our products that it severely limits our use of Operations Dashboard.

I have a point dataset that I need to calculate the road network distance to the nearest section of polyline. I have the following licenses: 1) Network Analyst 2) StreetMap Premium 3) ArcPro/Desktop Basic (No Spatial Analyst or advanced tools) Since there isn't a discrete point to calculate distance to in my polyline feature, it doesn't seem like a lot of the functionality of the network analyst will work (location-allocation, route solver, etc). I essentially need a "Near Analysis" but calculating road distance. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

I've added a web map into a sidecar section of a Story Map, and when editing the map within the sidecar, I can see the 50% transparency. But once I click "Place Map" and view it in both edit mode and preview mode, the layer is fully opaque. It is a Vector Tile Service. Is this a known bug, and/or is there a fix? Thanks
