ArcGIS Sever 10.9.1: How to determine the number of shared instances? For example, if the server machine has resources of 4 cores, what is the best value that needs to be allocated as “number of shared instances”? How about the “number of cached services”? Clip_133.jpg

ArcGIS Pro 2.9: Having a tool to plot xy by clicking on the map, It would be great if the Pro is enhanced to have a tool to plot xy by clicking on the map Currently, the xy can be plotted if only searched by the “go to xy” and “locate” tools Clip_29.jpg Clip_30.jpg

How about this question when it comes with the most recent technology: Pro 2.9 and ArcGIS Server 10.9? Which option is much faster: Cached Map Service (that contains mosaic for the imageries) or Image Service? Clip_21.jpg

Correct. We do have ArcGIS Image Server role. Do you mean that publishing imageries contained in mosaic (as image service) has the same performance as the cached one? Clip_18.jpg Clip_19.jpg Clip_20.jpg

As caching takes a long time, we cache our imageries in multiple machines (each machine caches the imagrey of the country in a particular year) and then we copy the cache to the production machine. This is used to work very well in ArcMap Correct. All cached services are created using Pro The caching format is as per the screenshot below Clip_16.jpg

Correct. In ArcMap, it used to work that simple. The cached service is copied in the target machine in the (C:\arcgisserver\directories\arcgiscache) folder and detected by the ArcMap as an mxd file with same name as the cache is published with overwrite option Not sure how this should work in Pro Clip_11.jpg
