Well, I checked again once, and Registering as Versioned, should not make those options Grayed Out. As I suggested earlier, try the below: Is the data in that Feature Dataset consumed in any services? Maybe a Lock is preventing? If you make sure that there are no connections to the Geodatabase and then try, does it help?

I would check with Esri, if they have plans to certify ArcGIS 10.5.x with SQL Server 2017. That would take care of this compatibility issue. Looking at previous trends, I expect that to happen. By any chance, do you have ArcGIS Desktop 10.6 accessible to you?

What issues do you face? Is there an error message? What is the error message, if any? What configuration are you using (Database, Database version, Enterprise gdb version)? Is the data in that Feature Dataset consumed in any services? Maybe a Lock is preventing? If you make sure that there are no connections to the Geodatabase and then try, does it help? If you create a copy of that same Feature Dataset, in that same Enterprise gdb, does it show the same behavior?

I have seen this with SQL Server databases as well, as far as I recall. Sometimes, just creating a dummy VM with the same Server Name\IP (without the db installed), also speeds up the process.

Have you tried the below: Closing and reopening ArcGIS Pro and then trying again? Create a new connection to that Oracle db and try again?

The below suggestion worked for me a couple of times, so you can try this. However, this will have to be done on all machines, where ArcGIS Desktop is installed and will be opening the old MXDs. Go to--> C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc --> Open the Hosts file using Notepad\Notepad++ --> make the below changes: Original content: # 127.0.0.1 localhost Change it to: 127.0.0.1 Old_Database_Server_Name Sometimes the Old_IP_Address worked instead of the Old_Database_Server_Name.

You did kind off answer the question yourself.. ArcMap was upgraded to 10.6 PostgreSQL 9.3.5 is running on Windows Server 2012 R2 I've tried copying the files from DataSupport folder in Postgres 9.4, 9.5, 9.6 As you can see, the ArcGIS 10.6 Database Support does not have any 9.3 folder. The reason being, PostgreSQL 9.3.x is not a supported database for ArcGIS 10.6. PostgreSQL database requirements for ArcGIS 10.6—System Requirements | ArcGIS Desktop To upgrade any further than 10.3.x, you will have to upgrade the version of PostgreSQL. PostgreSQL database requirements for ArcGIS 10.4.x—System Requirements | ArcGIS Desktop (Needs atleast PostgreSQL 9.3.10) PostgreSQL database requirements for ArcGIS 10.5.x—System Requirements | ArcGIS Desktop (Needs atleast PostgreSQL 9.3.13)
