Hi Jon, Thanks for your interest in ArcGIS Earth. For now, it is not possible to search by attributes. Do you need hosted feature layers, ArcGIS Server feature or map service layers with Query enabled searchable? If there are more user cases shared, it will definitely help us design and prioritize. Feel free to share to me at Jdu@esri.com. Best, Jasmine

Hi Pål, I saw your case which was submitted to the support team. It is now being successfully triaged and investigated. We normally do not directly share install files. For now, the best option is to escalate the issue to technical support, just as you did. In the future, we might consider the channel to download previous builds through MyEsri. Best Regards, Jasmine

In today’s world, city planners, engineers, and law enforcement need to quickly understand and visualize their environment to gain insight. The ArcGIS Earth V1.8 release is jam-packed with new capabilities. Interactive analysis tools in this release make visibility assessment easy — enabling you to make informed decisions without waiting for someone else to do geoprocessing. These tools can help identify threats in tactical operations, find vantage points that could be exploited, and best placements for observation points. Download from here. Elevation Profile – Before hiking on your favorite trail, use the Elevation Profile tool to create a profile graph from terrain or surface data using Esri’s World Elevation Service or your own proprietary content. 3D Measure – The 3D measure tool empowers you to measure distances dynamically on terrain, buildings, or other 3D objects in the scene. Line of sight– Identify visible and non-visible objects in an area of interest with the line of sight tool. Create sight lines from a specific point in the scene or from the current camera position. With the From animation option, perform line of sight analysis along a selected line to help you determine visibility along a route. You will see how much coverage that a vehicle or drone could observe through the animated line of sight analysis. Viewshed Analysis - With viewshed analysis, adjust heading, tilt, horizontal, vertical, and range parameters to see the entire visible surface area from a sensor or human observer. With the Animation option, you can preview how much coverage a moving object can see along a path. Uses of the viewshed tool include site selection for buildings, radio/cell phone towers, or parking structures, for example. The tool could also be used for selection of survey locations and discovery of good security camera positions. Data support The release of 1.8 includes two new portal information items - Web scenes and Web maps. Use web scenes and web maps to organize content in Portal for ArcGIS or ArcGIS that can be shared across web and desktop tools. You can also load Feature collections layer. And you can use tile package for ground elevation surfaces. Improved Usability ArcGIS Earth intends to deliver a game-like immersive experience. Recently, we improved the user experience by adding bookmarks, the new exploring mode, and capability to customize the start-up view. Some of the other updates include display of measurement on line segments while drawing, geosearch with multiple geocoders, and identify for scene layers. Users can also access ArcGIS Earth from the Microsoft Store. All of this capability is in your hands to help you dive in and interact with your 3D content instantly. This is just a taste of the goodness in ArcGIS Earth 1.8. To find more about what is in this release, visit our website. In addition to this release, we have released ArcGIS Earth for Android mobile devices in Alpha. Try it out from the Early Adopter Community or the Google Play Store.

ArcGIS Earth has been well received since we launched it, helping to deliver GIS capability for all kinds of users, from students to scientists. We've been working to put the easy-to-use capability of ArcGIS Earth into the hands of our users. This week, we're releasing a mobile version of ArcGIS Earth for Android devices to our Early Adopter Community and Google Play Store. The ArcGIS Earth Android is optimized to let you quickly browse 2D and 3D content, both offline and . The mobile version of ArcGIS Earth allows users to Browse 2D and 3D content from an Android device. Collect and share information in the field. Perform interactive 3D analysis. Simulate walking in a 3D scene. Here are some of the ways these capabilities work: Browsing 2D and 3D Content from an Android Device - You can connect to ArcGIS or ArcGIS Enterprise and add 2D or 3D data to a mobile device. The ArcGIS Earth app for Android currently supports feature services, image services, scene services, and map services. For users in unfavorable environments, such as those working in the field, ArcGIS Earth supports the capability to add scene layer packages and tile packages saved in your device's local storage. Collecting and Sharing Your Information in the Field - We introduced the Tour feature to help you collect and share information. You can quickly play a tour with photos in your album, showcase what you've seen along a journey, or point out where you have been during a fieldwork assignment. We have an example that shows a recent trip along a hiking trail near the Great Wall of China. You can also add place markers, and add edits. ArcGIS Earth Mobile Tour feature - YouTube Performing Interactive 3D Analysis - You can select the measurement tool to extract coordinates and run a quick visibility assessment—including line of sight and viewshed analysis—with interactive 3D analysis tools. A more robust version of these tools will be in ArcGIS Earth 1.8 for desktop users—coming soon! Simulating Walking in a 3D Scene - With the sensors in your mobile device, you can even simulate walking in a 3D scene. As an Esri mobile app, ArcGIS Earth embeds an extensible geosearch capability and basemap options from ArcGIS . Powered by ArcGIS Runtime SDK for Android, the ArcGIS Earth mobile app will continually explore emerging technology like virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), putting these tools directly into your hands. All these updates are ready in the Early Adopter Community or the Google Play Store for free. We invite you to join Alpha program—please provide us with feedback and help us define how interactive 3D experiences via your mobile device can help you in your work or personal life.

Hi Andres, I am sorry to hear that Earth is not working for you. Can you share log file located at C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\ESRI\ArcGISEarth\logs to JDU@esri.com? Also, a good news is that Earth 1.7 is coming soon, I'd recommend install new build and see if this problem is fixed. best, Jasmine

Hi Mitch, Unfortunately, there is no plan to support NMF file as it is ArcGIS Explorer data formats. Instead, my suggestion is to export it as a layer package. Refer to FAQ: Is it possible to open NMF files in ArcMap? And layer package support is in our pipeline. You are also welcomed to share the data as well as any details related to jdu@esri.com, which will help us get a better clue of the user scenario. Best, Jasmine

Hi guys, You can try to open AGOL from IE to check if it works. We uses the default Internet Settings (IE) proxy, so if it works fine from Internet Explorer on the server, it should be ok from ArcGIS Earth as well. Let me know if it works. Best, Jasmine
