Thanks for the answer Devesh. I have two parcel layers, submitting info for feature on first layer copies feature into second layer, and feature needs to be deleted from first layer. If executing addFeature and deleteFeature one after another, will cause issues if any one of them get error out. One way is to revert the operation in case of error, do you think this is my best option? Thanks, Vikrant

Is there a delegate method equivalent to -(void)featureLayer:(AGSFeatureLayer *)featureLayer operation:(NSOperation *)op didFeatureEditsWithResults:(AGSFeatureLayerEditResults *)editResults{ available for local geodatabase edits. I am loading feature layer table in snapshot mode, which does not update dynamically. Add feature leyer table as OnDemand Mode is causing ArcGIS Server Instances to crash, making app run slow. Which might be caused the other related layer to not update as well. Refering to my older post http://forums.arcgis.com/threads/87041-Strange-ArcGIS-Server-Instances-crashing I have attached a screenshot of Server Log. As Divesh suggested in above post, I still need to work with customer support on this. I just wanted to add that it is only happening with Feature Server Tables, not with feature Server layers with Geometries.

I have a feature table in mapservice which I am editing in the application. There are four other layers which are related to this table based on some attribute. Symbology of each layer changes when value in the table changes. In my didFeatureEditsWithResults method when table gets updated, I am calling refresh for all fours layers. Problem is that layer color change is completely random. Sometimes it will update layers right away, sometimes I have zoom in-out and pan around , and sometimes it doesn't at all. I have tried using NSTimer function to refresh all four layer after few seconds of table updated response, but no luck. [dataChanged] method used to work well in old sdk, but now I am using 10.1.1. Is there any way to work this out. Thanks, Vik

I am having same issue. After deleting the feature, I have to pan around a little bit to see the effect. [dataChaged] method used to work really well earlier.

[featureLayer dataChanged] method is removed correct? . I am little confused because is see that in document for "Information rich pop-ups" section https://developers.arcgis.com/en/ios/guide/working-with-web-map-popups.htm, or is this section is for old 2.3.1 version?

We are noticing a strange issue with ArcGIS server instances with using feature layer in OnDemand Mode. In our iOS app, when loading feature layers in OnDemand mode, we are noticing ArcGIS server instances crashing and restarting, making application really slow. However, as soon as I change the layers to SNAPSHOT mode, it doesn't happen. This issue does not happen when using same services in JavaScript API. in OnDemand Mode. Any Ideas? Could it be load on the server? I could survive using SNAPSHOT mode but the problem with using SNAPSHOT is that layers does not get updated after adding, deleting or updating features everytime. I am calling [FeatureLayer refresh] in didFeaturesEditWithResults method, does not show updated layer every single time.

What is the correct way to check if attribute with type Integer is not null in the new sdk 10.1. self.capacityStepper.value = [self.feature attributreAsIntForKey:@"Capacity" exist:Bool] I don''t know what to put for value for "exist". Setting it to YES is giving me warning as "Incompatible Integer to Pointer". I need above value assignment to happen only when attribute value is not null;

Is it possible to query feature layer with field alias. My feature layer is from see table and its attributes show up like this "Metro.METROBASE.parcels.PIN" , Alias:"PIN", and the database is subjected to change.

I think ArcGIS.com creates a single dynamicLayer, which contains multiple layerIds. Each layerId is shown as an item in the layer list. What happens if you add your layer to ArcGIS.com - does the polygon correctly show with 60% transparency? Yes, if I add dynamic map to arcgis.com, it shows polygon layer with correct transparency. I guess its loading each layer as separate dynamic map layer.
