I do not see the code that I wrote getting executed when I unrelate. I wrote a simple calculation rule to set the 'model' field to the current time stamp whenever there's an update to the child row. It works when I modify a field on the ElectricDeviceUnit as shown below: Before update to the 'notes' field After update to the 'notes' field: However, when I do an unrelate, the attribute rule does not seem to execute: After unrelating the child from the parent: The 'model' field did not get the current time stamp. It stays null. It seems that the code I wrote for the attribute rule did not execute as a result of doing an unrelate. I'm using Pro version 2.6.1.

I do not want to prevent the child from being unrelated to the parent. I want a field on the parent to be set to null if the user chooses to unrelate a child from the parent as shown in the screen shot below. Will a constraint rule allow me to do this?

Is it possible to know when a related child object has been unrelated from its parent feature? I'm using $originalFeature and can compare it to $feature to determine if the child was related to a parent and now is been unrelated. I wrote a Calculation Rule and set the trigger to Update, but the code I wrote doesn't seem to get executed when I remove a child from a relationship in Pro. I want to set a field on the parent to null in the case of a child becoming unrelated. Is removing a child from a relationship not considered an Update?

I'm writing an immediate calculation attribute rule using Pro version 2.6.1. I have a relationship defined between a parent feature and children objects. Whenever the user changes either the parent or any of its children, I need to update a field on the parent feature. Is this possible using Arcade and immediate calculation attribute rules? I've written the rule and it works fine when I change the parent feature, but it doesn't fire when I change the related child objects. Then I began writing a second rule for the child object, but I realized that I would ultimately be changing something on the parent feature, which I do not think can be done using Arcade and immediate calculation attribute rules. The rule would also have to execute whenever a new object is related to the parent or an existing object is unrelated from the parent.

I published a hosted feature service in 10.7.1, and now I need to add the 'create', 'editing', 'update' and 'delete' capabilities to the feature service. Is there a way to add these capabilities without having to republish the feature service?

I'm helping a client who has ArcGIS for Autocad 300 sp1 version 10.1.5001 setup in their environment. They use this to access map services on from an ArcGIS Server version 10.2.1 successfully. Now they have an instance of Portal for ArcGIS 10.7.1 setup and the map services have been published to it. However, when they try to use ArcGIS for Autocad to access the map services from the 10.7.1 Portal, they get prompted repeatedly to supply their credentials in a Token Authentication window as shown below. I tried supplying my credentials around 50 times before I gave up. They don't get this when they access the 10.2.1 map services. Should ArcGIS for Autocad 300 work when accessing a 10.7.1 Portal?

Someone gave me a python toolbox with a GP script tool in it. It works fine in Pro, but I'd like to run it from a command window, outside of Pro. Should this be possible? I can't figure out how to set the parameters that the tool needs. I can easily call other GP tools, like GetCount, etc. I'm running Pro 2.4.3.

I'm using Pro 2.3.3 . I'm converting a console app that executed sql against a sde geodatabase using Arc Objects IWorkspace.ExecuteSQL. The goal is to create a table for reporting and analysis. I'm looking in https://github.com/Esri/arcgis-pro-sdk/wiki/ProSnippets for a snippet to show how to execute sql against a geodatabase. Is it possible to do this using the Pro API?

I'm not using the Utility Network at this point, but at some point the customer will want a Rule like the one I wrote to calculate the related objects to features that are in the UN. I'm using Pro 2.3 and Enterprise 10.6.1. I created a support case with esri about this yesterday and they are helping me with it. I'll post any results from that support case here. Thanks.

I've been trying to use this approach to get the count of related objects in an attribute rule calculation. I'm trying to count the number of objects related to a feature which is from a feature service, and set the count on an attribute of the feature called 'RelCount'. I use the $datastore instead of $map above. Here's the arcade for the rule titled 'setRelCnt': var id = $feature.GlobalID; var sql = "Parent_GlobalID = '" + id + "'"; var asset_view = FeatureSetByName($datastore,"GISP.PE_GIS.SimpleUnits"); var assets = Filter(asset_view, sql); var cnt = Count(assets); return cnt Here's how I defined it in Pro: I assign the Rule and share the map to create the feature service. When I edit a feature in Pro to trigger the rule, I get this error that the table "GISP.PE_GIS.SimpleUnits" is not found. However, you can see the table from Portal: Is there an easier way to get the number of related records to a feature using Arcade? Should I be able to get the table "GISP.PE_GIS.SimpleUnits" and count the related records when updating a feature from a branch versioned feature service?
