@RyanUthoffthank you for the suggestion. I tried restarting the IIS server, the Portal for ArcGIS service, and eventually the entire server. As long as the patch is installed the pages will not resolve.

I just upgraded from ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9.1 to ArcGIS Enterprise 11.0 today and everything was going well until I installed the Portal for ArcGIS Security 2022 Update 2 Patch. After installing the patch, I am getting HTTP 500 errors through the web adaptor URL and HTTP 404 errors through the internal URL. I uninstalled the patch, and everything started working again. Reapplied the patch and the errors came back. I am not seeing anything useful in the web traffic or logs to determine the cause. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

I would also recommend opening your web browser's developers tools, go to the Network tab, and then try deploying the solution. You might get more details on how and where the deployment is failing. That has helped me troubleshoot ArcGIS Enterprise issues in the past. I think in most web browsers the developer tools can be opened using F12 on the keyboard.

Sorry everyone, I got busy with some other things and forgot to share that the issue was on Esri's side and they have resolved the issue. Once Esri made whatever change they did, all I had to do was clear my browser cache and all my Category Gallery apps started working without me having to change anything on my end. Here is a link to my other post: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-instant-apps-questions/category-gallery-fails-to-load/td-p/1227047

Here is a link to the list from Esri of their supported drones for Site Scan and is supposed to be kept up-to-date: https://community.esri.com/t5/imagery-and-remote-sensing-blog/site-scan-flight-for-arcgis-matrix-of-supported/ba-p/1009544 The DJI Mini 3 Pro is still not on the list.

I am having the issue on 10.9.1 while logged in. I have tried other accounts including an admin account, using different groups, different settings, different sharing, and the Category Gallery just hangs. I am getting the same error as Randy. When I check the web traffic it appears that the gallery is finding and loading the category information. I tried moving or Minimal Gallery apps to the Category Gallery app template in preperation for upgrading to ArcGIS Enterprise 11. I may go ahead with migrating the apps and then upgrade to 11 to see if that fixes the issue.

I am trying to migrate our old Minimal Gallery apps to the Category Gallery before upgrading to ArcGIS Enterprise 11. I am running into a problem where the gallery never loads. All that is displayed is the moving progress bar. I have tried different groups, web browsers, and even an admin account, but they are all stuck at loading. There is an error in the browser consoles saying "Uncaught The item containing the living atlas categories could not be determined". However, when i check the web traffic the Category Gallery has successfully found the category schemas and the ArcGIS Online Content Category Sets group. I am not seeing any errors in the web traffic, the app just stops after requesting "https://<portalurl>/sharing/rest/content/groups/a4be56ab633f4a3885b3a7d7f44bc82f/search?f=json&q=typekeywords: &<token>" which returns: {

The client does not have to be on the same network as License Manager. However, the client machine must use a VPN, or checkout the ArcGIS Pro license before removing the client machine from the network. We have run into problems with both methods. The VPN method requires the VPN to be on the entire time ArcGIS Pro is being used. Lose the VPN, lose the license and ArcGIS Pro will warn it will shutdown. The checkout method has a limit on how long the license can be checked out and should the user try to use ArcGIS Pro on another client they will be told they cannot because their license is checked out on another client. The user has to check the license back in before they can use a different client. I have always wondered if there is a way to create a secure proxy that safely allows connection to the License Manager port. I am not a web developer so I have no idea if it is possible. I wish whatever approach Esri uses to securely get a license for ArcGIS Pro through ArcGIS Online would be ported to ArcGIS Enterprise.

Please add support for cache resampling to image services so that image service cached tiles are resampled in Map Viewer and Map Viewer Classic. I have an image service with "Resampling" enabled on the caching settings page in ArcGIS Server Manager. When viewing the image service in ArcGIS Server Administration Directory I can see that there is a property for resampling and the value is set to true. However, when I view the image service in Map Viewer or Map Viewer Classic once I get below the last cached level the tiles disappear instead of resampling. If I publish one raster as a map service and cache it the same way as the image service then I get the expected behavior in Map Viewer and Map Viewer Classic and the resampled tiles display. After reviewing the ArcGIS REST API documentation it appears image services do not support the resampling property at the API level. I can confirm that the resampling property is not shown for my image service in the ArcGIS REST Services Directory, but as far as I can tell the rest of the cache properties are shown.

I see the statistics are the same so that is not causing the difference. One thing to try to troubleshoot the issue is to set the Explore tool to "Visible Layers", set the Stretch Type to "None" for both raster and mosaic, and with the raster and mosaic both displayed click on the map and compare pixel values. If the pixel values in the popup are the same, then they are most likely not being stretched the same way when a stretch is applied. If the pixel values are different then something in the configuration of the mosaic dataset is modifying the image. Some things to check could be the mosaic projection different from the source projection causing resampling, the overviews using a different compression and resampling than the raster's pyramids, or the mosaic transmitting with a compression applied. I use mosaic datasets to manage my organizations imagery acquisitions. Our images are already color-balanced so we do not use a stretch or color-balance the mosaic dataset. I keep the mosaic settings as simple as possible (same projection, product definition is "None", manually set the number of bands and pixel depth, use the raster's existing statistics and pyramids on raster import, calculate the mosaic's statistics, define the overviews, build the overviews, and set the mosaic's data source type to "Processed"). With that setup my mosaics match the original rasters pixel for pixel. Using a transmission compression method of None or LZ77 will not affect the pixel values. JPEG definitely will change the pixel values and LERC might change the pixel values depending on the tolerance set.

A few things come to mind. Check to see if the mosaic layer and the raster layer are using the same Stretch Type, and make sure the statistics have been calculated for the mosaic dataset. For our rasters that are aerial imagery, I set the source type to Processed so that the Stretch Type is set to none when adding it to ArcGIS Pro. I do the same for any mosaic datasets that use the aerials. You can use the Set Raster Properties geoprocessing tool in batch mode to set the correct source type for multiple rasters at the same time.

One way is using commercial extract, transform, load software to convert and load your data into the address management schema. Another option is to use Python to set up an extract, transform, and load process yourself. Create a copy of your data, add new fields for anything that needs to be formatted (i.e. string to integer or vice versa), calculate values into the new fields, and then use the append tool with field mapping. I know that is easier said than done, but it works without having to buy additional software. I guess you could use Model Builder as well, but I prefer the control Python offers. Either way I would start with a small sample to get the process down and then apply the final process to the entire dataset.
