I have seen this problem. Workaround: you can get this information from rest in defaultValue -> field: see this sample url: http://sampleserver1.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/Network/ESRI_DriveTime_US/GPServer/CreateDriveTimePolygons?f=json&pretty=true in js api you can use a esri.request you return a object: you get parameters objects.parameters loop on this array of parameters and using name for find your parameter and then you get objects.parameters .fields so you have Field Aliases see also this sample esri: http://help.arcgis.com/en/webapi/javascript/arcgis/help/jssamples/data_requestLayerInfo.html

you can ask a export map: http://yourserver/yourinstance ags/rest/services/yourservice/GPServer/yourtool/jobs/youridjob/results/yourParameter?f=json&... (parameter exportmap) if you use in js gp.getResultImageLayer(jobInfo.jobId, parameterName,imageParams, function(gpLayer){ gpLayer.setOpacity(0.5); map.addLayer(gpLayer); }); when you zoom map you see a call like these that I write up for layer gpLayer. or getResultData(jobId, parameterName, callback?, errback?) (if you ask a featureset to job for a parameter) you can see call from fiddler for rest

it isn't direct but you can easily add in mxd a query layer (see my video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JSDt0Mi5vHE ) you can see also this code (Morten Nielsen (ESRI)) shows how expose your SQL Server 2008 Geometries directly with ASP.NET as a FeatureService ready to use with any ArcGIS WebAPI Client FeatureLayer http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=6d28a606369c43fd9a6f929541ae7c93

Project has in input array of geometry. You can do your loop into function like:
gsvc.project([hiddenFacilities], outSR, function(projectedPoint){
for (var i = 0; i < facilityMaster.length; i++) {
pt = projectedPoint;
hiddenFacilitiesGraphic = new esri.Graphic();
hiddenFacilitiesGraphic.setGeometry(pt);
hiddenFacilitiesGraphic.setSymbol(markerSymbol);
hiddenFacilitiesGraphic.setAttributes(...);
parkNameLayer.add(hiddenFacilitiesGraphic);
}
});
