I have created an operations dashboard that contains a map widget. The web map this widget is pulled from has pop-ups enabled that function properly inside the web map. However, when the dashboard is viewed, none of the pop-ups work. Does anyone have any ideas. I am using a Hosted Feature Layer in the web map.

What is the tool parameter data type set as for the mxd variable? Try adding a print statement to see what is being returned. import arcpy
import os
#get user to input the mxd into the script tool
mxd = arcpy.GetParameterAsText(0)
#define the mxd from the above
arcpy.mapping.MapDocument(mxd)
arcpy.AddMessage("{}".format(mxd))
... To ensure fields are being formatted properly in sql queries, you can use AddFieldDelimiters.

If you open the legend properties and select 'Placement' tab. You'll see a box which you can choose where to set the items inside the legend frame. EDIT: I now see the 'Size & Position' tab you're speaking of. It seems to be the same as the 'Placement' tab in the Legend Pane. If this solution doesn't work, I don't know if another solution and am curious as to why it's happening. However, this solution did work for me.

Does the idea being marked as 'Reviewed' mean they're not considering the idea. EDIT: Nevermind, I found the process of ArcGIS Ideas.

I feel the pain of the ODOT, as I have experienced this multiple times with ArcCollector (among other unexplained bugs). For what it's worth, you can access the runtime geodatabase on the local device and convert it with ArcGIS. You'll still need to push edits to the enterprise geodatabase. This is the method we used to extract the data from an unsuccessfully synced runtime geodatabase.

I still think there are split opinions on the new Identify tool. Have you seen these posts? https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-pro/data-management/the-quest-for-the-missing-identify-tool/?rmedium=re… https://community.esri.com/ideas/10859

Ahmad, I have a tool that does something like this. Please check my GitHub repository for the code. However, this tool only lists GDB items, some info about them, and their fields. It does not compare two different geodatabases. Let me know if you have any ideas on how to improve on it.

Damon, Dan has given the correct Python Label Expression in line 5 of his example. The first variable will be the LENGTH field, and the second is whatever other text field you chose. You may have to convert the length field to a float first (line 3). "{}' {}".format(round(leng), fld)
"{}' {}".format(round(float(leng)), fld)

I updated to Pro 2.2.0 today and noticed the default python environment is now read-only. The previously downloaded packages I had were wiped out with the new update. I need to get the package, spyder, back into my environment. So, I cloned the arcgispro-py3 environment in order to make the install. Notice that the window says, "Restart ArcGIS Pro for your environment changes to take effect." So, I clicked 'Exit'. After the program restarted, I no longer have a cloned environment to select. Can someone please help?

Dan, thanks for the follow up. I successfully installed Spyder via the Python Package Manager in ArcGIS Pro, however I can't seem to figure out how to access the IDE. I tried to create a desktop shortcut via your blog post, but I couldn't figure out the paths. I haven't had much time to dedicate to this, but I plan on spending some time on it soon.
