Hi Robert, Solved it. Thanks for the link. Needed to add a web.config to the widget folder to allow cross origin. One question. If I add the popup panel and legend widgets to the tab theme side panel when I click on a feature should the app switch to popup panel. Currently it stays on the Legend widget. I have to click on the popup panel widget to the see the popup. Awesome work as always, Robert. HI Robert, I was planning on using the embed web map side_panel parameter and came across your similiar functionality for WAB. We are using Enterprise 10.6.1 and I registered the PopupPanel. When I create a new WAB using the tab theme I can see the PopupPanal under the custom widgets (it is stored on our application server). When I click OK to add it to my WAB it throws a CORS error and fails to add it. I probably should put the widget somewhere on our portal machine but I am not sure where. Hi Jonathan, Thanks for the information. We have tried to set up the health check URL on our load balancer but have encountered issues due to the fact we use IWA to authenticate. As we do not allow Anonymous access to our portal we are unable to access the health check URL from the load balancer (F5). Unless there is some other way to do it? Ideally we would want use the health check as just doing a simple RCP check is not really sufficient, as you stated. Currently portal01 is off so I cannot reach https://portal01:7443/arcgis/portaladmin. I can reach https://portal02:7443/arcgis/portaladmin. How do I check the postgres processes on the primary machine. Simply, in task manager? I see the following: How would I determine which one is an orphan? Should there be only one postgres process? Hi, Jumping into this thread. We discovered a major issue with our HA Portal environment. If we turn the primary machine off the portal switches over to the other machine as expected and makes it primary. Problem is, that the load balancer still tries to direct traffic to the now off machine causing portal to hang as it knows no way to send traffic to the primary machine. Has anybody else encountered this issue? How do we configure the load balancer to only direct traffic to the primary if the standby is actually switched off? With all the tests we have been doing (switching machines off and on) we seem to be in error state where portal does not know which machine is the primary. We can no longer log in to portal/home or portaladmin. Checking the logs shows an error: HA: Master down, check if this node needs to be elevated to be the new master. Hi Robert, Just as I thought. Weird that it can’t be done given you link the Dev Edition to your organization account. You’d think through the linking that you could easily see the custom widgets. So would one way to get the custom widget in the AGOL be to create the app on Dev Edition and download it. Then import as an application in AGOL. Just a random thought haven’t tested it. For context, the reason I want the app in AGOL is that I want to leverage the elastically of the AGOL cloud severs. This app is for an upcoming election which may get hit by thousands of users. I don’t think our server can handle that kind of load so I was hoping to let the power of AGOL and it’s wealth of servers do the work for me. Thanks again for help. Yes that was what I meant. The developers edition didn’t seem to incorporate the changes I made to the config file. UPDATE. If you create a new app then it will “see” the new changes…. Hi Robert, I am trying to combine the widgets which proving to be difficult as there are duplicate functions that I need to merge. I am new to using WAB developers edition. I tried to make a test widget just to get my feet wet. I did it the sample widgets folder and got to work. I copied it to the stemapp/widgets folder and ran the setup.exe. I tried to load my widget and got an error (nothing in the console log to help). I determined that the config.json had some errors. I corrected the errors and ran the setup.exe again, however when adding the widget I get the same error and I notice that it is still trying to use the old config.json. I have tried it in 3 different browsers and cleared the cache on all three but no luck. Do you have any idea what might be causing this? Might have to provide slightly less functionally out-of-the-box but saving significant costs. If I put the NearMe and Query widgets in the header controller how hard would it be to put the results from those two widgets into the side drawer. I’d like to have one result set that looks identical..
