Issue: When creating a survey using a feature service hosted in ArcGIS Server, federated with Portal for ArcGIS, and added to ArcGIS Online, an error is returned, "Invalid Token". Use Case: We are currently publishing on-premise referenced data from their enterprise database to a portal federated server. This live connection to the data is then viewable in Portal. They are then registering these publicly shared layers with AGOL using the collaboration method, which is the same as manually adding this public service to AGOL or using Python as a transport. Ideally, using S123 for AGOL would provide a more stable platform for us to create our surveys off of, while still maintaining our Federated Server/Portal environment. We do not want to require passing a token as the workaround for this because this is currently not part of our workflow and is the whole reason for distributed collaboration in the first place. At this point we would like to have the opportunity to build a survey off of the AGOL item and share this survey with the community. Thanks so much!

Hi Esri Community, We are currently having issues with a survey in Survey123 which has been shared publicly. This survey was published using Portal S123 Connect (version 2.7.72) from an existing Portal Feature Service (Portal version 10.6). The survey is accessed by users via a web browser. Again, both the feature service, map image service, and survey have all been shared publicly. This survey has been working for the past two months with one token issue last month (which I opened a Support case for Case # 02124389 ). The public survey required a login for an unknown reason, this was resolved with a republish from S123. We kept an eye on this survey and again exactly 1 month later we're experiencing a required sign in for a public facing survey. This time a simple republish is not resolving the issue. When viewing this survey in an incognito browser we see the login screen, and when taking it one step further and logging in we experience this error message: Esri support (Case # 02145603) is telling me that S123 for Portal does not support public facing surveys? I find this hard to believe since it allows the built in option for surveys to be shared publicly and that this has been working roughly for the past two months. Any information or further support would be much appreciated as this is affecting our live data. Thank you.

Hi Esri, We would like to have the ability to create organization-wide style files that can be dynamically updated as the chosen styles may change. This would allow us to create a consistent experience for the general public and promote alignment with our branding. Currently the only way we can add these style files is to add a copy of them to the root folder from the ArcGIS install file on each individual PC. When we change any of these styles, all the copies on different PCs are not updated and need to be manually replaced. Thanks so much!

Hi Laura, Thanks for the update. I'm sorry to hear that support was unable to help. Hopefully if enough organizations raise their concern and respond to this thread, we may be able to eventually find the reason/ as solution. Thankfully Edge is not one of our primary browsers or preferred by any means. It's just unfortunate that some of our users still use it and Esri's documentation says it's 'supported' but yet it doesn't work. In addition, we are using an internal server that is configured with HTTPS and a web adapter.

If a user is simultaneously signed into AGOL and accessing a Portal Survey (created from S123 connect from existing federated service hosted on ArcGIS Server> published> accessed via hyperlink) there is a Token Error and the survey breaks Case # 02105855. The case resulted in a bug but was claimed as 'an irrelevant workflow' and was closed 'not in product plan'. This will continue to directly affect any organizations that need to make a survey from an existing portal feature class and who want to access it from the web. Please fix this issue!

Hi All, There does appear to be a BUG that was logged for an issue similar to the one we're facing: " #BUG-000096296 Adding map services to ArcGIS Online fails when using Microsoft Edge browser." It looks like it was opened in 2016 but was declared 'Not in Current Product Plan' Explanation: "Works fine with latest version." Unfortunately as we're all experiencing, it's not working in current version. Just thought I would pass this information on!

Hi Laura, Unfortunately we have not yet found the solution to this issue. Just out of curiosity, where are you hosting your services? AGOL, Portal, or ArcGIS Server? We also contacted Esri support but the case resulted in it being an internal issue and that support was unable to help us. If you do end up contacting support feel free to reference our case # 02107067.If you happen to discover the fix, please reply to this thread. It looks like a handful of other organizations are also facing this issue.
