Hi Robert, How do you specify the listenWidgetIds? When I try to add it to the widget config like the comments in BaseWidget, it doesn't recognize it. I'm pretty sure it will work if I do it in the JavaScript, but it's better to have it in the config file. Thanks, Nathan

I'm still getting this issue with ArcGIS Pro 2.9.6 and ArcGIS Server 10.6.1. Hopefully, it's fixed in newer versions of ArcGIS Server. Resetting the field order did the trick.

While preparing a presentation in PowerPoint, I noticed that Office often has more fine-grained resolution on the point sizes of things like line widths and border widths. I believe that for a 96 dpi screen and 72 points per inch, a pixel is 0.75 points. When I have used multiples of 0.75 points for point symbol sizes, line widths, and outlines in ArcGIS Pro, I have always achieved better results. ArcGIS Pro always increments point sizes by 1 pt and you have to manually type in decimal points. I would prefer if it incremented 0.25 pts at a time. Maybe others wouldn't feel the same way, but you could make the increment size a configuration parameter. I think it makes more sense for the arrows to have fine increments for when you are making final adjustments to point sizes and type in the point value if you want to make a large change. This comment applies to both vector symbology and labeling. For example, 1 pt increments really don't make sense for halos.

Hi Dan, I was able to get it to work by extracting the .aprx and editing the XML. NULL was stored as <Null> in the XML.

Hi Dan, What I am referring to is how to type in NULL in the UI? If the NULL values are in the data, it will add them. If I want to type them in, it says invalid data type if I type in <Null>.

I'm having a very difficult time adding NULL values to a unique value renderer. I am using 3 fields and I want to enter in all possible combinations even though I don't have all the values in the data, but it says that <Null> is an invalid type. I have no idea how they want you to enter NULL manually. I even tried creating all the values in the data, but the tool to add all values wouldn't add value triplets even though the data was saved and clearly present. I reentered the data and some values would show up and not others. Thanks, Nathan

Hi Paul, I set the Python interpreter under command line. I never tried using the Activated Env option. Wing support might be able to get that to work for you. I might be doing it wrong too. Thanks, Nathan

Hi Bradley, I just launched ArcGIS Pro and then opened Google Chrome while I was waiting for ArcGIS Pro to load. Chrome loaded and then ArcGIS Pro stole the focus after 10-20 seconds. I didn't do anything fancy. Obviously, there is a missing ingredient here. The only thing I can say is that we use Citrix Workspace. I do get the problem whether remoting into the office or working from the office. I will see if some of our staff with new machines have the same issue. I checked the registry setting you mentioned and it was set to 30d40 already. Thanks for your effort.

Right now, I am searching through the Esri fonts to find the ideal character to build a specific symbol. I select a font and look at all the symbols then go to the next font. Every time I open the font picker, I have to scroll down the entire list of fonts to get to the Esri fonts. I can see the current font and the previous fonts, but I really want to go straight down the list to the current font. Most of the time, I am not looking for alphanumeric characters. I am looking for Esri fonts with cartographic characters. Could you move the scrollbar down to the All fonts section and open the All fonts section to the current font every time we open the font picker? That way, the recent fonts are still quickly accessible, but people who want to go through the list start where they left off, not at the letter A every time. If you have a better idea, great. I just want to open the font picker and pick the next font below the current font. This should be two clicks.

Hi Kory, I think this idea is probably referring to the ArcGIS Online Classic Map Viewer under Configure Pop-up > Configure Attributes. I must have had a map service with a lot of fields and I was trying to put them in the desired order. Similar to ArcMap, I wanted the ability to move attributes all the way up or down in the list, not just up and down one position. I think this idea is in the wrong location. I did look at ArcGIS Pro. There aren't arrows to move fields up and down in the Fields view, but you can select fields and drag and drop them where you want them to be. So, as far as I'm concerned, I don't really have a specific issue with ArcGIS Pro.

Yes, I explicitly set it as either the web map extent or the current map extent in the builder, but it won't zoom to that extent on other machines. It may not be the aspect ratio. It may be the height. It's like it doesn't accurately understand that the extent it's supposed to display is not completely visible. Here's what I mean. The app below was just refreshed. It is on my machine where I configured the web app, but the browser window was made smaller. The map features are cut off. When fully maximized on my machine, it looks like this. I understand the browser window may change size, but I would think the initial app extent should always be visible on load.

In general, I have noticed that web applications built using ArcGIS Online and WAB Developer Edition both have the following problem. If you set the initial extent of the app on one machine, the app may be zoomed in or out one level of detail on another machine. I've seen this so many times and I believe it is due to differing aspect ratios of the monitors. My monitor has a 4:3 aspect ratio, so I'm the odd man out. Intuitively, the app zoom level should be the largest LOD that completely displays the initial extent. If the map does not contain the initial extent, then something is wrong. If it is zoomed out unnecessarily far, then something is wrong. This seems like it should be a well-known issue. Could anyone please explain it at a detailed technical level? I think it may have to do with the fixed LODs of WAB.

Good Morning Jennifer, I will be honest with you. It's been a long time since the DevSummit and I haven't used Experience Builder since then. As best as I can remember, there were various issues related to our network settings that were making it difficult to setup at work. It would probably take a lot of troubleshooting to figure out. However, I believe there is an offline installation process that you can follow that works perfectly. You can also try to do the setup on your home computer without all of the network restrictions and it will work properly. I believe I did the offline installation at the office before going to the DevSummit and then retried the online installation at the DevSummit and it worked on the conference wi-fi.
