Hi Esri, It's been nearly 4 years since this issue was posted. With Web AppBuilder depricated and retiring soon, the lack of filtering functionality is hindering migrating WAB items to Experience Builder. Please can you provide an update for us? Is there a timeframe for the missing filter widget functionality to be made available in Experience Builder? Thank you.

Thank you, I completely agree. We are running out of time to migrate our Tab themed WAB items to Experience Builder before WAB is retired. None of the templates currently available in Experience Builder (WAB Classic or otherwise) are remotely close in functionality to the Tab theme. While other WAB Classic templates have been migrated over, it is dismaying that the Tab theme was not included (see pics below). Is there a timeframe for WAB Tab theme to be made available in Experience Builder? Thank you.

Can the Web AppBuilder Classic Tab theme please be added in Experience Builder. I don't know why it wasn't included, as all other WAB themes have been migrated over.

Thank you for this tip regarding the properties section! I have my spatial filter working now. For anyone who gets a bit lost finding this, here's a screenshot for reference. Add layer from service url (don't add any parameters) > go to properties > add custom parameters Format parameters - e.g. I've found that the minimum custom parameters to use are inSR and geometry. It seems that you don't need to include geometryType or spatialRel for the filter to work. outSR stops the filter from working. The 'spatial inputs' section on the api explorer is handy for getting the geometry coordinates in the correct order - especially if you're working with data outside of the US/northern hemisphere https://hub.arcgis.com/datasets/b85233f0b21a4a9c9044ad21f459ed4a/api?layer=0 Cheers

Hi @AdamRepsher_BentEar, I contacted Esri support asking the same question you posted here - I too am trying to spatially filter a web service using custom parameters. Below is what Esri replied with - unfortunately it isn't as detailed as I'd hoped... Hope it helps you. I'm no closer to solving the spatial filter.... Typically, the requirement for custom parameters in a web service would be specified in the service’s documentation or API reference. However, not all services may provide this information explicitly. In the context of ArcGIS Online, when you’re adding a layer from a web service, you have the option to add custom parameters. These parameters are appended to all requests made to the service. The parameters and their values would depend on the specific web service you’re working with. If the service’s documentation does not provide the necessary details, you might need to contact the service provider or seek advice from relevant forums or communities. In short, these custom parameters are generally used for accessing the service. You can however access other functionality by using URL parameters instead as found here: Use URL parameters in Map Viewer (esri.com)

Hi Taylor, Thanks for taking a look - I've tried your script and unfortuntely it is still not working. I don't necessarily need the date returned as a date, I am just returning the summed weight value and displaying it in an dashboard indicator. What I don't understand is, our script was working for the last year, and only after the AGOL update there are issues with it. Are you able to provide any advice? Should @ArmstKP and I submit support tickets?

Several arcade expressions used in Dashboards have stopped working. Getting the error: "Test execution error: Unknown error. Verify test data." Had no problems before the update, anyone else having this issue? Could the new date functions (DateOnly etc.) be the cause? Appreciate if anyone can help. Hi @SeanKMcGinnis , thank you! Our organisation has AGOL layers that need to be watched for any/all changes. I'm rebuilding our Integromat webhooks in Power Automate. Hoping to keep using 'wildcard' so only one flow is needed for each layer.

Can this ArcGIS Enterprise workflow be made available for the ArcGIS Online connector in the next update? It is limiting that the connector controls the webhook - there doesn't seem to be a way to edit it in power automate? and it can't be modfied on the feature layer (except renaming). I've tested changing the 'change type' to wildcard (*) - the power automate flow ceases to hear any feature changes. If I'm completely wrong about this please disregard and please could you share a how-to? Many thanks.

Hi there, Is there a way to format a custom colour palette so it does not have a horizontal scroll bar? I would like to avoid having a separate palette for each of the hues and retain them in one palette, CoS. The scroll bars appear when I add my palette to the project. If I remove my palette, the horizontal scroll bar is removed with it. I would like my custom palettes to maintain the formatting of the system default, with nice spacing on the side, like this: Thanks for any assistance!

Hi there, I’ve had some similar issues, hope this helps in some way! 1) Is this for a point symbol? I haven't found a way to do this on AGOL like a layerfile so instead I upload a custom PNG. I use a free SVG editor to make the symbol and export the SVG to PNG-24 to use on AGOL. The SVG can be imported for use in Pro too. In Map Viewer, the Symbol Styles window, is where you can drop your custom file. Styles > Style 2 and 3) It looks like you are using your own basemap layers in ArcGIS Pro, and Esri's basemaps in ArcGIS Online? Publishing your own base layers as vector tile layer and using it as the basemap in your webmap would be a good way to get around this and your labelling issue too. You can define scale dependencies so the labels make sense as you zoom in/out. Just make sure you set your scales to match the projection – WGS 1984 Web Mercator (auxiliary sphere). Hi there, I’ve noticed that spaces in label expressions are not being honoured for polygon and polyline features in ArcGIS Pro. In the arcade label expression builder, I’m using spaces to add a small background colour buffer on either side of the label – refer to line 4. I use this technique extensively in my work, across ArcGIS Pro versions 2.6 through to my current install of 3.1.0. The spaces work on point features, as you can see below. Feature.Id is a text field. "<ACP>" +"<BOL>" +"<CLR red='0' green='0' blue='0' alpha='100'><BGD red='255' green='3' blue='1' alpha='100'>" +" "+$feature.Id+" "+ "</BGD></CLR>" +"</BOL>"+ "</ACP>" The same expression has been applied to a polygon and polyline layer; you can see the spaces are not honoured. I’ve also noticed that in polygon and line features, leading and trailing spaces in the attributes of the labelling field are not honoured either. Polygons above, polylines below Is a different expression required to label a polygon or line features in the way? Are the capabilities of label expressions different between the 3 feature types: points, polygons, and polylines? Any help on getting this to work is very much appreciated. Cheers
