Hi Tim, Thanks for the confirmation again. Were you able to get any of Robert’s Custom Widgets for the Experience Builder working? Draw eLocate Measurement Print Once you add a Custom Widget to the your-extensions/widgets folder, you would need to restart the npm client service. That is all it takes for the custom widget to appear under the Insert Widget Panel. Perhaps we should wait for Robert’s assistance on this. Best, David

Hi Tim, Thanks for the quick confirmation. Navigate to this folder: C:\DAVID\EXB\EXB2\client\your-extensions\widgets Do you have the FeaturePanel folder? C:\DAVID\EXB\EXB2\client\your-extensions\widgets\FeaturePanel\ If not, this needs to be copied from: https://community.esri.com/t5/experience-builder-custom-widgets/feature-panel-widget-1-7-0-2-24-22/ta-p/1147687/

Hi Tim, Could you please verify these steps during your installation? 1. Are you using Node.js version 16.14.0 https://nodejs.org/en/download/ During Node.js setup do not install Chocolatey Uncheck this option 2. Use Experience Builder Developer Edition version 1.7 https://developers.arcgis.com/downloads#arcgis-experience-builder Do not use version 1.8 3. Let’s say this is your Experience Builder folder: C:\DAVID\EXB\EXB2 This is your server folder: C:\DAVID\EXB\EXB2\server\ This is your client folder: C:\DAVID\EXB\EXB2\client\ 4. Open a Command Window Navigate to the server folder C:\> cd C:\DAVID\EXB\EXB2\server Start npm C:\DAVID\EXB\EXB2\server>npm start You should receive the message that the http server is running on port 3000 https servers is running on port 3001 5. Open a 2nd Command Window. Navigate to the client folder C:\> cd C:\DAVID\EXB\EXB2\client Start the npm client C:\DAVID\EXB\EXB2\client>npm start You should receive a message saying: cross-env NODE_ENV=development webpack --mode development --watch However, you are getting this message: 'crossw-env' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program, or batch file 6. If everything works correctly, you should have 2 Command Windows open: 7. Open Chrome and enter https://localhost:3001 This should launch the ArcGIS Experience Builder (Developer Edition) 8. Robert’s Custom Widgets should appear in the Widget Gallery like so:

Hi Robert, Success!! Thanks so much for your expert tips. I learned something new today. I set the maxHeight property to 235 to get it exactly the way I wanted. data-dojo-props="maxHeight:235" By Shape Tab By Value Tab By Spatial Tab I had no clue that you could set these Dojo Properties in the Widget.html file. I expanded the width of the Text Box for entering the Buffer Value under the By Shape Tab from 50px to 80px. I can now enter a buffer distance of 1,000 feet without the value being cut off. I can hardly wait to see this Widget ported to the Experience Builder. It would become the centerpiece of all Experience Builder apps. The simplicity of the User Interface in the Enhanced Search Widget belies the complex graphical and spatial searches one can perform with just a few mouse clicks. Best regards, David Das

Hi Robert, I have tested your enhancement. I tested these 6 cases setting different WKID values for the Coordinates displayed in the Popup. Everything is working like a charm, except that the minimum precision defaults to 2. You cannot change the minimum precision to 0 I don’t thing anyone would complain about this. In general, it is good to display at least 2 decimal places. Here are the details of my testing. Case 1: Default Precision Setting = 2 worked WKID = 102100 Web Mercator (WGS84) Meters Coordinate Precision = 2 Case 2: Precision setting = 0 did not work WKID = 102100 Web Mercator (WGS84) Meters Coordinate Precision = 0 Case 3: Precision setting = 4 worked WKID = 102100 Web Mercator (WGS84) Meters Coordinate Precision = 4 Case 4: Lat/Long, Precision = 6 worked WKID = 4326 Decimal Degrees (WGS84) Coordinate Precision = 6 Case 5: Lat/Long, Precision = 0 did not work WKID = 4326 Decimal Degrees (WGS84) Coordinate Precision = 0 It appears the minimum precision defaults to 2 Case 6: Stateplane Feet, Precision = 0 did not work WKID = 2868 Stateplane AZ Central (NAD83-HARN) feet Coordinate Precision = 0 The minimum precision defaults to 2 decimal places Conclusion: The Popup honors the WKID value that is set. It can be Web Mercator (WGS84) meters, or Decimal Degrees (WGS84) or Stateplane feet. Any precision value can be set so long the minimum precision is 2. Best regards, David Das

Hi Robert, Thanks a million for porting so many of your essential WAB Custom Widgets over to the EXB platform! All your Custom Widgets for Experience Builder Version 1.7 are working flawlessly on our Parcel Map Measurement Widget Draw Widget Print Widget Enhanced Locate Widget Feature Panel Widget You would have to use Firefox to open this: http://davidapps.net/exb/ParcelMapV6/ I had a simple enhancement request on the Popup for the Address Inspector Tool in your Enhanced Locate Widget. The Popup shows both the Map Coordinates and the Lat/Long Coordinates. The Map Coordinates are displaying Web Mercator (WGS84) meters: X = -12478362 m Y = 3954782 m Can you add an option to display only the Lat/Long Coordinates like so: This would make the Popup less cluttered. I see there is an option to specify the WKID for the coordinates displayed in the Popup. I have set it to 102100 = Web Mercator (WGS84) meter Best regards, David Das

Hi Robert, Thanks a million for the Feature Panel Widget! This was the perfect solution to keep the default Web Map Popup from blocking the full view of the Parcel. I like the fact that the Feature Panel Widget can be resized and moved anywhere on the map. Must use Firefox to open this link: http://www.davidapps.net/exb/ParcelMapV6/ All your Custom Widgets for Experience Builder Version 1.7 are working flawlessly on our Parcel Map. Hi Robert, I tested eSearch version 2.21.1 on Web AppBuilder version 2.22. The Max Row limit to 10 rows is not working. Here is the Search Layer drop down under the By Value Tab Here is the Search Features of drop down under the By Spatial Tab Here is the Search Layer drop down under the By Shape Tab If you could tell me exactly what changes to make to the code, I could modify it myself till you release a new version. Best regards, David Das

Hi John, Congratulations!! I am very happy to hear you got the Query Widget to work. How about using the Filter Widget to filter out the data exactly they way you want it. The Filter Widget will allow you to show only the Transmission Power Lines that carry 115kV. You could turn on another Filter that will show only the Parcels of size >= 40 acres. So, with these two filters engaged, your map will only display the Transmission Lines that are carrying 115kV and the Parcels that are 40 acres or larger in size.

Hi John, I opened the Web App on an Apple iPad. https://experience.arcgis.com/experience/826295ea0a7344699360f284308e7456/ The Query Widget returned the correct results. I am puzzled why this is not working for you. Can you borrow an iPad and give it a try? Perhaps open this link in your home computer outside your Organizational Firewall?
