I am using FME to call the reporting API. It works OK using a map in a simple report but not in my main prod report. I am getting some timeout json response - see screenshot - any ideas? web map referenced in the report is simple, just a basemap. We are on Enterprise 10.8.1 errors of interest: Runtime.callFunctionOn timed out. An error occurred when rendering by the report engine. Failed to print map for

to add to this discussion: in the window Share As Web Layer > Conent > My Content, there is a summary of the Layer ID's. The layer ID is a clickable link in blue that take you to the Layer Properties to swiftly change the layer id. This is a good functionality. But it does not list group headings, just layers so it's not telling the full story of your map. I think this is just an oversight but correct me if I am wrong.

My experience with this limitation is that the "make offline" process just fails with no useful error message. In between now and the proper fix, it would be nice to have an error message or some sort of "analyze map" tool that checks if the web map has "multiple layers from the same feature class with a definition query".

@AlixVezina can you describe what you mean by this "If you did make changes in the web map, you would need to make sure those changes are saved against the hosted layer / service endpoint - but the behavior there could be inconsistent." or even better, have a look at my question here https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-web-appbuilder-questions/editor-widget-missing-choice-in-feature-template/m-p/1247124 thanks 🙂

I have added a choice to the list of a field of a hosted feature layer. When I edit it in the web map, it displays the feature template with the recently added choice. When I edit in the app (WAB) using the editor widget, the new choice is not there in the feature template. I've tried: re-adding the layer fresh to the map deleting and re-adding the editor widget into the app

Can the dynamic ArcGIS Layer be the forms own feature service? i.e. can it search "itself" to populate a list? Example: 1. user enters a code of DUCK01 > then submits. 2. user beings a new form 3. user opens dropdown list , would like to see the recently added DUCK01 entry as an option I just tried this and it looks in like it's stuck at the Converting XLS Form step when publishing, so does this mean it's not do-able? EDIT: this is possible and works like a charm. ✔️ (there must have been some other quirk converting the form).

can this be adapted to a near analysis instead of just an intersect? use case example: populate a field with the the nearest train station to my location (geopoint).

My post was more do with me looking at the wrong portal version documentation and this meant there were differences in the scheme. Please allow for the rotation of labels for points in ArcGIS Online Feature Layers using a numeric field (or a hard coded value). Similar to what you can do in ArcGIS Pro. My particular use case: engineering road chainage labels are commonly aligned perpendicular to the a road alignment (and also offset) in drawings and plans. Consistency between web maps and drawings are valuable for AEC users. Just one example here, rotated labels can improve web cartography in many other ways. Thanks for the reply @Anonymous User . I did further reading and can see it's easier for now to avoid nested repeats for images. The reason why nested repeats enticed me is so you can run a sub-report in Vertigis reporting and control where the images are within the report. See here for info on that: here if you're interested. Not sure how S123 reporting handles selecting only a certain attachments (images) in different parts of the report.
