Hi MapSynch MapSynch So, all content in your Story Map is shared publicly - that's why everybody (i.e. the general public) can see it now. Is that an answer to your question? Cheers, Egge-Jan

Hi Alexandra Scott, I tend not to agree with you, or am I missing something? My data in ArcGIS Online is in RD_New (not Web Mercator) and when I download it to open it in ArcGIS Desktop it is still in RD_New... See for example this screen dump below Egge-Jan

Hi Alexandra Scott, You cannot change a Spatial Reference in ArcGIS Online once set, but you can define another (non-3857) Spatial Reference when you create your layer, right? Much of our content is in RD_New (EPSG:28992): "spatialReference" : { "wkid" : 28992, "latestWkid" : 28992 } Cheers, Egge-Jan

Hi Agency Developer, Can you please indicate how you create your layers? Do you set a targetSR? If you don't specify the targetSR data will be automatically transformed to wkid 102100 (-> wkid 3857 -> Web Mercator) when published to ArcGIS Online. Egge-Jan

Hi Laurence Jackson Please have a look at this Migrating from arcpy.mapping to ArcGIS Pro—ArcPy | ArcGIS Desktop for more information on the migration from arcpy.mapping to arcpy.mp. I don't think a simple find and replace will do... Egge-Jan

Hi AGAMEMNON PSYRILLOS, I would suggest to consider your Hosted Feature Layer in ArcGIS Online as the single source of your data. You can access this source from anywhere: you can view and edit the data with mobile apps (e.g. Collector for ArcGIS), within ArcGIS Online or with ArcGIS Desktop (ArcMap or ArcGIS Pro). So, the moment you have published your feature class from your local fgdb to ArcGIS Online, this newly created Hosted Feature Layer should be taken as the source, and - in a sense - your local feature class becomes obsolete. Of course you can always make a copy of the Hosted feature Layer for backup reasons, but you should definitely avoid that part of your edits is done in the local fgdb and the other part in the Hosted Feature Layer... What do you think? Egge-Jan

Hi, Sounds like it should work, and - as you indicate - it did in the past. So, the trick now is to find out what has changed between 'now' and 'then'. Questions: What version of ArcGIS Pro are you using? Did you recently upgrade? What format is your data in? Shapefile? FGDB? Does the system give an error message? Did you verify the syntax before running the calculate field? What is the result of this verification (with Verify😞 does it say it will run or does it already give an error? And - last and also least - can you please (re)confirm that both input and output fields are indeed still numeric after you buggered your data and needed to start over? Please let us know what you think. HTH, Egge-Jan

No thanks at all 🙂 If you think your question is answered, please feel free to mark it as such. This will also help to limit the number of apparently answered questions in this forum. Cheers, E-J

Did you have a look at the ArcGIS Online Assistant already? Here you can login with your Esri account to search your web map, and - by clicking I want to... View an item's JSON - retrieve the full web map specification in JSON format to be edited or updated. Is this the answer to your question? Egge-Jan

Hi, to be able to say anything about your issue you will have to provide us with some more information. It is clear (from the message) that you are not able to add the Basemap Basemap OS Mastermap 'Carto' because it is not available. So, you have to search for the reason of his non-availability... 🙂 Is it a temporary issue? Did it work before? What is the source of this basemap? Do you get it directly from Ordnance Survey, from Esri, Esri UK or another source? Please let us know how you are doing, basemap-wise. Egge-Jan

If you want to do it manually in ArcGIS, a possible solution would be to add a (temporary) column to your data set with the name - let's say - OVERLAP and a default value of 0. Then you query against the first layer (with select by location) and you update the OVERLAP column in the selection with the value 1. Then you repeat this step for the second layer, again using the value 1 to be put in OVERLAP. And again for any further layers. At the end of this process you will be able to filter those polygons with OVERLAP still containing 0, i.e. those polygons that do not overlap with any of the other polygons. What do you think of this suggestion? Egge-Jan P.S. Didn't see Dan's answer yet while I was writing mine.

Hi Karen/Stephen, I am running out of gas here... 😞 Following the documentation it works for me and not for you...?! The only thing I could think of, but that's just a wild guess, is that you are using an incorrect single quote?! Maybe someone else has an idea? Egge-Jan

Hi Randy, I don't think that's correct? When I use your syntax (with an epoch/UNIX timestamp in milliseconds) I get an error: 'where' parameter is invalid According to Sarah Scott's blog (Querying Feature Services: Date-Time Queries ) the syntax - using this converter https://www.epochconverter.com/ - should indeed be: fset = FL.query(where = 'DATE_LATEST_INSPECTION > TIMESTAMP \'2019-02-08 12:08:56\'') which in my case works correctly.
