One of our AGO members (using Enterprise sign-in) ran into this today on an Android device.  Referencing this bug BUG-000090213: In Collector for ArcGIS (iOS) 10.3.3 with multiple A..  we tried all the suggestions and no success.  The "Enter valid credentials for map layer" does not offer an enterprise sign-in option which added complexity to our problem. We ensured the member owned all the layers in the web map ensured all the layers in the web map were editable and sync enabled tried changing member's role to "admin" but no luck....still got "Enter valid credentials for map layer" prompt Next, we created a temporary non-enterprise named user account with admin role. when she tried to sync (signed in with her enterprise account), she was again prompted to Enter valid credentials for map layer.  Here she entered the non-enterprise named user account with admin role credentials and voila - the map synced ... Interesting idea... I've seen the other side where users are frustrated by not being able to delete an item.  I think it should remain an option to toggle (not default to delete protected).  But perhaps when the item is created there could be a prompt/option to delete protect immediately, or delete protect later. ... I agree it would be useful and intuitive to be able to calculate selected records from the item details/data/table view page (and also from the attribute table in the map view). A workaround that I just tested works as follows:  on the item details/visualization page, set a filter to define the records you want to calculate.  Save the layer. Then go back to the data/table view, and you will see only the filtered records.  You're then able to calculate only the filtered records.  You can then go back to the visualization page to remove or change your filter.  Somewhat clunky but it works and can be faster if you have a lot of records requiring updates to values.  You might want to add/use a test field to ensure results are as you expect. ...
