Hello GeoNet, I have this GeoForm https://arcg.is/1zPTzq running on httpS, the 'Locate Me' button works on desktop and Android, but does not work on iPhones. The location service is on from the device. Any idea please? Thank you! Emily

Hello GeoNet, I wonder if it is possible to use my own polygon pattern for symbology on ArcGIS Online like points do. I have a set of standard pattern for land use, but they are not solid colors. Ex: And when I tried to pre-set the symbology before publishing the service online, those came out empty (hollow with no color) or solid black instead. Like this: Any idea please? Thank you! Emily

Hello GeoNet, Sorry, this might be a simple question... but I just want to make sure I'm understanding it correctly. In order to limit users to batch geocode too many records at once which might strain our server if we have it publicly available, we just need to simply put the maximum number of records under Parameters when we publish the geocoding service, correct? Thank you! Emily

Hi Kelly, Thank you for your reply. There is a field called "Status" for field workers to update the status of a case ('Open', 'In Process', or 'Completed') from Collector. The same feature service is being used in GeoForm for the public to report new cases. So, I've set the default value of the "Status" field to 'Open' and does not allow NULL values when I created the geodatabase in ArcCatalog before publishing it into a feature service. When creating the GeoForm on ArcGIS Online, I was able to hide the "Status" field from its web map, but from the GeoForm's configuration page, in the Fields section, it does not honor its web map's setting and all required fields are not able to disable (uncheck). Ultimately, I'd like to require the field workers to fill in this "Status" field, but would like to hide this field from the public to avoid confusion. Note - I've created another 'feature layer view' for public editing (only allow to add new features), but as for required fields that were set at the geodatabase level in ArcCatalog, it doesn't seem to matter. Thank you very much for your time here. Emily

Hello GeoNet, Is it true that I cannot hide required field on GeoForm, even though I have a pre-defined a default value for it? I don't understand why. Because it allows me to hide the field in webmap, but still required to show in GeoForm. It kind of beats the purpose. Configure popup page from webmap: Configure fields page from GeoForm: Thanks, Emily

Thank you, Zoltan. I'm having problem downloading the basemap offline from Collector, so I'm trying the Tile Package Kreator to side-load the Esri streets basemap to the device instead. I was able to successfully create and side-load the basemap, just not able to open it up and use it on Collector yet... I think you're right, Survey123 might have a different, simpler workflow to take map offline than Collector. I might switch my project to Survey123 later on. But in the meanwhile, I have opened a tech support case about it. So, we'll see. Thank you!

Thank you, James. After leaving the download overnight, I think the basemap finally got downloaded (343,420 KB). Then I'm a little bit confused there, because it's asked me to download again. So, this time, I chose a smaller area for testing. But I guess it meant for the real "work area"? But I thought downloaded the side-loaded basemap was the "work area". Anyhow, I then tried to collect a feature outside of it because my real work area is actually the entire basemap area I just side-loaded and downloaded. But then it says "Feature is outside of your work area" as below shown: I'm hesitate to remove the map under Manage > Remove map, because that would remove the basemap that took me overnight and several tries to download, correct? How do I re-select the blue box/work area without deleting my side-loaded/downloaded basemap? Sorry, maybe it should have been more a Collector question. Not sure if Survey123 needs the similar workflow for downloading basemap/working area in order to work offline. Thank you very much again!

Tile Package Kreator seems great and easy to use. I was able to create a tpk file of a basemap successfully into a local drive, then copied the file to my Android tablet's "ArcGIS_Collector" folder. But from the Collector app, I can't download the map to use. It just hangs there and wouldn't finish downloading. Any idea please?

Hello GeoNet Community, Is it possible to go back and forth between an online basemap and an offline basemap on Collector? It seems that once I've downloaded the map offline, I can't go back to regular online basemap. The issue is that I downloaded the area where connectivity was bad, but still hoping to use the regular online basemap for other areas. Thank you! Emily

Hi Dan, I've tried 'US Address-Dual Ranges' and 'US Address-One Range' styles. But now I'm thinking the problem is my source data? Does my source data need to be a hyphenated number as address number first? Like this: Because my source street data is not hyphenated... like this: Thanks, Emily

Hi Allison. Thank you for your reply. Sorry, I should have stated my question better. I meant the editor tracking day/month/year are incorrect.
