Kristy / Greg - I would suggest you contact Esri Support Services for help with your configuration. The My Government Services App is fully supported on IE. Most likely, there is a minor error in the js file that Chrome and Firefox ignore, but IE errors out on. You can also use a program called JSLint to check your configuration file for errors. Scott

James - I would suggest you use X-Ray to validate your XML workspace before attempting to import it. You'll find the Validate tool under theTools dropdown. The validate tool will check your XML workspace document and give you a report of the errors. The error you mention below sounds like the name you assigned to the feature class may not match the name of the worksheet. Also keep in mind the Import Using Geoprocessing only works with simple features and does not support many of the complex data types that are in the Local Government Information Model (parcel fabric, etc.). This tool (while powerful) should really only be used to cycle on simple changes (new feature classes, tables, domains, etc.) you want to make to you current model. Scott

Yes, you can append your new domains to your existing SDE schema. Start by creating an XML workspace document with the changes you'd like to apply. Then select Xray dropdown>Import Using Geoprocessing tool. Input your XML workspace document, your SDE geodatabase and select Add Missing Domains. When you select OK, the new domains will be imported in to your SDE schema. Scott

Josh - We studied several ADA inspection examples a few years ago before coming up with the design we have in the local government information model. You could use the CurbRamp and Sidewalk feature classes in the FacilitiesStreets feature dataset as a starting point and adapt it to meet your specific needs. Hope this helps. Scott

The SiteAddressClass domain values are consistent with the FacilitySite feature types. Furthermore, the FacilitySite feature types were adapted from DHS's Homeland Security Infrastructure Protection Program and can be used to catalog/type facilities in a community. Yes, on many occasions we do use the same domain code and descriptions in the information model. We do this because it helps users avoid confusion when sharing data with other non-ArcGIS users. In addition, the descriptions also help many times when interacting with feature tables directly in ArcMap.

No, an AGOL subscription is not needed to access the Routing Service. In addition, its difficult to trouble shoot the specific configuration issues you're having, so I would encourage you to contact Esri Support Services. They can help you resolve the challenges you are having. Scott

Nicole - We would encourage you to download and deploy the latest version of the Tax Parcel Viewer. The version of the Tax Parcel Viewer you reference uses an older version of the Javascript API. We have not tested 10.1 services with this version of the API and quite honestly, we do not believe they are even supported. If you do want to pursue deploying the older version of the application, I would start by upgrading the API and then resolve any issues you have with the new API and the application itself. Thanks Scott

Jason - Here is a link to a help topic that will also provide some useful information to get you started. We certainly have seen several implementation patterns emerge and can share a presentation outlining those if you'd like. We covered several of these topics in our Live Training Seminar this fall. Am not exactly sure what you're looking for. Are you looking for sample dataset and the maps used in each editing map or application. If so, you will find everything you need in each individual download. I would start by identifying in the gallery which map or app you'd like to implement. Here is a link to the gallery.
