Good solution Thomas! Your answer should be pinned to the top so it is made visible.

I succeeded in listing the answers of a repeat in a comma delemitated string. Here is how to do it: In the repeat, create a Calculate field named "repeatTxt". Set it's "bind::type" to: string Set it's calculation to: ${yourRepeatQuestionName} + ', ' Now create a new Calculate field outside the reapeat called "sumTxt". Set it's "bind::type" to: string Set it's calculation to: sum(${repeatTxt}) Now Create a Note field and place this in the Label property: ${sumTxt} I hope this help. EDIT: You can even add conditional color formatting to the repeat calculation to highlights errors!

In Survey123 Connect, there is a button to open the URL of the Survey in your ArcGIS Organisation website. From there, you should see the Feature Service of the Survey in your content.

Ok it is more complex. I think you can manually do it this way: -Go to your ArcGIS Online account and open the Feature Service of the Survey. The URL will be similar to this: https://services3.arcgis.com/0lL78GhXbg1P07WO/ArcGIS/rest/services/service_075dd44dce89477b8j3d8l3kfb562554/FeatureServer/0 -Look at the bottom for the "Add Features" button. -Choose JSON format and try to add your JSON string. To automate this with the REST API, I think you will need to create a POST request to a URL similar to this one: https://services3.arcgis.com/0lL78GhXbg1P07WO/ArcGIS/rest/services/service_075dd44dce89477b8j3d8l3kfb562554/FeatureServer/0/addFeatures The request will include the following parameters: "format" (json), "token" and "features" (the JSON string). You will need to programmatically ask ArcGIS Online for a token to use in your request. EDIT: You can find more information about the "addFeatures" REST service at this link: Add Features—ArcGIS REST API: Services Directory | ArcGIS for Developers

You can populate answers from the Survey URL. See here: How To: Prepopulate fields in Survey123 for ArcGIS by modifying a custom URL

You are right that you also need the form_id. I forgot about it. I think it must match the Layer name of the Feature Service. As for your error message, I am afraid I can't help you with that. You might need an answer from ESRI for that one.

To target the same feature Service with a new Survey, follow these steps: -Open your Survey Excel file. -Go to the "settings" tab. -Add a submission_url. The Url should be similar to this: https://www.arcgis.com/sharing/rest/content/items/4adf71e8106245h08f1126dfb30cdi3f -Send your Survey to AGOL

Hi, My users have reported that the Survey123 app keep showing the following error message when they try to complete a survey with no GPS signal on their Android devices: Basicly, what it says in english is : "No position received" The actual position of the user is not important for our Survey (The user select a location ID). So is there anyway to prevent Survey123 from trying to find the device position? Will autopopulating the geometry field keep the app from searching for a location? Thank you for your help. EDIT: I can confirm the same behavior appear on Survey123 version 3.1.113 on Windows 7. The message appear everywhere in the app. I now see that I can disable it in the App parameters. Still, is there anyway to disable it completly? I would prefer not to collect personal information about the location of my users when they send me data.

Hi, I have an excel formula which tell me if a date is using summer daylight saving time or not. The formula is as follow and seems to work well in excel: =MATCH(A2,DATE(YEAR(A2),{1,3,11},{1,15,8})-WEEKDAY(DATE(YEAR(A2),{1,3,11},7)))=2 It returns true or false. I would like to implement to formula in my Survey123 form but so far I can't make it to work properly (or at all). Let's say the survey have a Date field named "aDate". I tried changing the formula like so: =MATCH(${aDate},DATE(YEAR(${aDate}),{1,3,11},{1,15,8})-WEEKDAY(DATE(YEAR(${aDate}),{1,3,11},7)))=2 But it seems it doesn't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. To be clear, I know that we can get the current UTC offset of the device, but I would like to get the UTC offset of a date that the user selected (So that I can tell if it is summer time or not.) SOLUTION: Ok I found a way to do it. Basicly, I implemented the algorithm found here (for US-Canada East time). To implement it. I had to use several Calculate question in a row. The basic pattern I followed was: -Find weekday abreviation using: format-date(${dateField},'%a') -Convert the weekday to a number between 0 and 6 using something similar to this (adapt according to your language): if(${dayOfWeek}='dim',0,if(${dayOfWeek}='lun',1,if(${dayOfWeek}='mar',2,if(${dayOfWeek}='mer',3,if(${dayOfWeek}='jeu',4,if(${dayOfWeek}='ven',5,if(${dayOfWeek}='sam',6,99))))))) -Implement the algorithm using format-date(${dateObs},'%n') for months and format-date(${dateObs},'%e') for Day of month

This feature would be very helpful. It would also need to be available for anonymous (public) user. See the comments in this link for why it is currently a problem (public user have to delete the survey in order to update it, loosing all their data in the process). Public users don't need to see all available survey from an organisation, they just need a simple refresh button somewhere.

Hi, I was wondering if the devices are supposed to remember the login information when the user intentionaly disconnect himself before closing the app or if he is supposed to enter the login information again? The answers here are not clear as they relate to a user closing the app without disconnecting himself first. To be clear, I would like to make sure my users have to enter their login information again if their disconnect themself.

I just tested again and the behavior described by James Wilson is correct. I am testing using Survey123 version 3.0.134 on windows 7. EDIT: I just tested with Survey123 version 3.0.149 and the same behavior is seen. Survey123 is opened as an anonymous user and the survey is public.

For our organisation, the inbox is needed in our public survey for the specific reason that people are losing all they previously sent survey when we do a minor update on the survey (because they have to delete it in order to update). If the update fonctionaly is enhanced, then a public inbox might be less needed. But, in fact, we would also need an update on the "Sent" folder fonctionality, because their would still be a potential for lost data on our survayors devices. See the Edit I made to my post here that explain the problem: https://community.esri.com/thread/220216-survey123-ui-enhancement
