select by location and make the target layer is 2nd shape file that have 800 point and make the source layer is the 1st shape file(500 point). use method "are identical to the source layer feature" then switch selection for 2nd shape file. that will be the difference points. there is so easy solution, just do spatial join for points feature class the have an occurrence time field with the polygons that have start time and end time, and make " it falls inside" checked.  now you get the spatial join. to select  temporally of point feature. use select by attribute as: [point occurrence time field ] > [polygon start time field ] And  [point occurrence time field ] < [polygon end time field ]. then you will get both spatial and temporally intersect. thanks ... the  "easier" solution, in my opinion. that use "Add XY Coordinates " for create x and y fields in the point feature class. Or create and Y fields manually , but make sure that your unit is feet (as your example). create two fields too, for calculate the opposite corner (lower right). you can calculate this using field calculator oppsite corner x = [POINT_X] + (5/12)    "that if you want create square polygon width 5 inches" oppsite corner y = [POINT_Y] - (5/12)    "that if you want create square polygon width 5 inches" 5/12 is variable you can change a value as you want with 2d of polygon.    3.  use " XY TO Line" tool and make start point the upper left coordinate , and end point lower right coordinate.    4.  now you can get your polygons using "Feature Envelope To Polygon" and put the pervious line feature as input and check Create multipart features box . not that what I want,  I know domain well . I want the user who will use my model ,input  coded values ( list of values ) to prevent a new value, because every value has select by attribute and special expression inside model . so any new value outside domain will not allow. the problem here that, How can I make the user know the coded value within using model, or How Can I appear list of coded value for user to choose within using model interface.  ...
