@raja-gs I just tried publishing (By reference aka not-copying data while publishing) from Pro 2.9 to a portal 10.8.1 and it worked for me. The database is an Oracle one. I just wanted to share my findings here.

Thanks @Anonymous User for sharing this info. This is great and very informative post! I'd just like to add a few notes here: if you never used this option before and you want use this now to overwrite an existing service, then I'd highly recommend you to double check layer-ids that get assigned to each layer (after you check 'allow assignment...' checkbox) with the layer ids you will see in your service REST resources. And make sure they match. If they don't you can open each layer properties page and update Layer ID in its General tab. Otherwise you might run into some issues. For those who are still using ArcMap for some reasons (please note, we recommend everyone to migrate to ArcGIS Pro), this option is available in there too.

Thanks, but the preferred time zone stuff doesn't help when accessing local geodatabase data. This idea request is for the enhancement of AGP to allow for enabling/disabling the formatting/display of data stored in one time zone (i.e. UTC) to be displayed in local time. Thanks @AJR for the clarification. Sorry that I was thinking your suggestions in context of service layer, not while consuming enterprise dataset directly in ArcGIS Pro.

@AJR Unfortunately Pro doesn't allow you to choose any time zone at this point. That said, we introduced a new concept in services i.e. Preferred time zone. When the preferred time zone metadata is available for a service, Pro shows date/times in that time zone. please see more information here: https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-pro/mapping/working-with-agol-feature-services-date-time-attributes-in-non-utc-time-zone-in-arcgis-pro-2-7/ https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/data/services/use-web-feature-layers.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_9EC2834147564F93B442B30975039010 https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/server/10.9/publish-services/windows/edit-map-service-settings.htm#LI_63693B19FCF94FCE863CB8F60FEBA712 and finally a video for a tech session from last UC on this topic https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=esb8X-1TtPk

@KellyKnapp35 - If you talking about the 'relationship IDs' (that is what we are seeing on the left side of '--' in your screenshots), then unfortunately we don't have any option at this point to support this. We do have plan to do that. Here is the bug id - ENH-000127465. Please contact Esri support and add your use case in that. Just curious, are these new ids causing any problem while you are using your service in a webmap/app? - But if you are talking about 'layer IDs' (that is showing up on the right side of '--' in your screenshots), you can fix them. Here is the doc that shows you how to. https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/sharing/overview/assign-layer-ids.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_11B19A48477F49FDBD61038AE0B851B2

@PhạmPhương Unfortunately I believe what you are asking for is not supported. Would you mind call Esri Support and log an issue? Starting ArcGIS Pro 2.8, we do support something called 'custom request parameter'. But unfortunately that'd not work either because we don't support this with xyz/tiled service layer. https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/2.8/help/mapping/layer-properties/add-layers-to-a-map.htm#ESRI_SECTION2_F2F5814FAAC34560B41BBE90AA0BF46F

It is not supported in ArcMap. ArcGIS Pro 2.7 or above allows you to do that. Here is a sample code. p = arcpy.mp.ArcGISProject("CURRENT")
m = p.listMaps()[0]
m.addDataFromPath("https://rmgsc.cr.usgs.gov/arcgis/rest/services/contUS/MapServer/0") please note, it still gets added as an "ArcGIS Map Service" layer with one sublayer points to the raster layer off the map service.

@ChenLiang @arahman_mdmajid if you try to access your services via these URL on a web browser (in incognito mode), do you get prompted to accept SSL certificates? if you do get prompted to accept those certificates, then they are not going to work in a print service. Print services can't accept any cert.

@SineKelly17 you can use either Import Map or Import Layout option from the Insert ribbon to import an ArcMap template (.mxd) in Pro and then save that out as a Layout File (.pagx) to be used in a print service published from ArcGIS Pro. Importing an mxd... Saving a layout as a Layout File (.pagx) hope this helps
