@shildebrand  if you add a layer off a map service as a feature layer, then it should work in 11.3 with the new Map Viewer. The new Map Viewer also included the support for related records off map image layers in ArcGIS Online's June/July update. @DominicReed  This looks like an interesting problem. I hope you won't mind if I ask you a few questions: I see you said it is a hosted feature service. Just to make sure I didn't misunderstand you - it is not a stream service, right? And a geoevent process feeds data into your hosted feature service. Is that correct? You said it is a point layer and it contains rainfall data for every time for last 15 min. That means there will be max 15 records for each weather station. Did I understand it correctly? if #2 is true, does it mean that you have 15 overlapped point features for each weather station? if #3 is also true, just a curiosity question - can it be normalized, and spatial data and time-series data can be stored in separate layer and table respectively?   Thanks. @CamMiller17  This is a warning and that shouldn't prevent you from publishing to enterprise portal or standalone server. The warning is about letting you know that if you try to publish it to an older version of arcgis server, the IDs you assigned to relates won't be honored. That said, you said you had 11.3 server and this warning shouldn't have appeared in this case. I will recommend you to reach out to Esri Support and have a bug logged in. ... View more

actually, some maps' layers don't provide a tool tip at all, regardless of selection or deselection. It's inconsistent hmm... that is weird too. We will keep an eye for it from our side. Please let the support analyst know about this too.     ... View more

Thanks @wayfaringrob  I tested with selected layers and it woks for me too. It is odd that it is not working for you or you are seeing them in reverse color. This would be something that a support analyst can better help you. We'd appreciate it very much if you could call Esri Support and they are in better position to help you in this case. @SimonSchütte_ct  if you don't need have editing workflow, then pls try adding as a map image layer; that should improve the performance as the draw will happen on the server side and there will be no need to bring large number of polygons on the client side.   ... View more

@JeanetteHarlow1  if I understood correctly, you are publishing a map containing a layer with custom symbology. If that is correct. And you don't have any requirements for editing, then I'd suggest you to publish it as a map image layer to your portal. And then consume that service as a map image layer, instead of adding individual sublayers from the map service as feature layers.  ... View more
