Survey123 can be made up of 3 itemIDs: The form item which is used to access the form in Survey123 field app (form item id) The feature service where the data is stored (feature service item id) A view of the feature service is created when you use the collaborate pane. usually generated with "_stakeholder" suffix (feature service view item id) That view is used for controlling how the feature service displays in the Survey123 Data/Analysis page. Pro can be frustrating, but a few of your points I can help with. 1. If you right click an item in the legend and "Save as Default". Any additional layers added will use the settings you want. See: Work with a legend item—Layouts | Documentation  Legend items can be pre-formatted using default settings. The default settings can be changed by right-clicking the legend item and clicking Save as Default. When additional legend items are added to the legend, they will conform to the last saved default. 2. The best way to deal with the extents of map frames is to make use of bookmarks. When you add new map frames, you can choose from bookmarks or the current extent. Or you can activate the map frame and then zoom to bookmark. I agree, not my favorite behavior. ... View more

Thank you - I used the enable editor tracking tool so I assumed it would work by default. I will try a few different methods of enabling editor tracking and seeing if that fixes the issue. Hello - I am running into the same issue. When I uncheck editor tracking in portal the issue goes away. The editor tracking is still needed though. If you mean within Survey123, grouping different surveys is currently not possible. An alternative solution is to create a pdf or similar with links to each survey. You can then have them open survey123 through that document. Here is how I handle similar scenarios: Go to the Feature Service Item details of your Survey123 Form Download as file geodatabase (FGDB) Add/Adjust the fields/domains in the file geodatabase to match your new schema Publish the .gdb as a new feature service In survey123 connect, open up the .xlsx and adjust the submission_url setting to use the new service (see documentation) Re-publish your survey It's a convoluted process - but it works well for the scenario you are describing.
